Default question for stockpile shower gift *recipients*

I'm curious... If you were to receive a baby shower gift that was a hodge podge of wipes, diapers, hand sanitizer, bibs, etc, what form would you want it in? Assume for the sake of the poll that you are getting the exact same items, regardless of the form they are in.

diaper cake - diaper cake or other form where the items are arranged in an attractive manner, but some of the packages have been opened

gift basket - gift basket or other form where the items are arranged in an attractive manner, but none of the packages have been opened

gift bag - gift bag or other temporary wrapping that is not meant for long-term storage

wrapped box - sturdy box meant for long-term storage; wrapped&bowed

I would be happy to get any of them but since that wasn't an option...:)

Gift basket or wrapped box. Diaper cake looks nice, but to me, it would look so nice that I would hate to disassemble it and use the items lol. I received a straw basket with an assortment of baby items a little over two years ago and I still use it and added some items since my newest baby this year. For a cousin's baby shower we bought a baby blue "wash basin" at the Dollar Tree for $1. It is real sturdy and a good size. Bought a baby blanket to line it with and added an assortment of baby items/clothes. Lucked out on the baby blue basin. If it was a girl could have bought the white one and lined with a pink blanket.

I think either a basket with the items or a just the items wrapped in a box. I've received and given both and they've always gone over well.

I think diaper cakes are a neat idea, but I always leave the packages whole so the mom-to-be can exchange things if she needs.

I made and given several of these to my daughter's friends. We have always done them in a round laundry basket. Who can't use another laundry basket. Suffed it full added some colored tissue paper and a card. The ladies that got them LOVED it.

I'd like them in a basket or box. The basket would look nicer though. Diaper cakes are really neat but I don't like that the diapers are all out of container and no way to identify them. I like to keep things in their original containers until I have to open them and put them in their proper place. With a diaper cake, they might get messy and hard to carry.

I got a diaper cake and loved it. They were size 3's, so it took awhile to use them, but it's been gone for awhile... used every one!

Although I also like the idea of unopened packages... but I think I'd want gift receipts with them (no matter what the buyer paid, just makes for an easier exchange if need be)

Well you know I made a basket recently and the mom to be loved it!
I like the idea of a basket because its pretty but the items are not opened.
And like said above who cant use another laundry basket.
