Those are few and far between-- mostly in the Midwest.
If they don't take expireds, your only use for them is to trade them away to someone who is looking for expired checks.

thanks | It varies by store. You will need to call the stores that you frequent for correct information.

| | Re: Formula 101 -- Updated and Improved! My nieghbor gave me some similac $5 checks to trade and I'm not sure how this works. My "baby" is 19 years old so I have never used one of these. They have her name on them and that's mostly what I'm wondering about. Do they all have names on them and does it matter?
Thanks,

| | Re: Formula 101 -- Updated and Improved! It never used to matter, but I read somewhere on this board where the store she was using it at asked for ID. I think stores are starting to crack down on these checks.
I've also had trouble at my Meijer (only from 1 cashier, so far) for using these checks in addition to catalinas. Which I find funny, because they are deposited in the bank along with all of the other "regular" checks the store received...
I'm guessing that the stores, or the formula mfg., or both, wised up to the fact that people were having their mothers, cousins, uncles, and brothers signing up on the websites in order to get more checks and samples. With the formula food industry being so competitive, you'd think the mfg.'s wouldn't care as long as you were buying thier formula, so I don't know...
Most of the ones i've recieved have my name on them... I've never personally been asked for ID. I guess if you're trying to sell them, just mention that they have someone's name on them and you take no responsibility if they're unable to use them at the store.

Is store Q + manf. Q + formula check superstacking? | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
