Kids Tooth Wipes----Are they any good?

Ok here is the thing....Taylor my 2.5 DD won't let me put a tooth brush in her mouth and it is getting to be a real hassle to brush her teeth. I know these are good for babies and toddlers. Has anoyone ever had these? Are they any good? Are they the same as brushing?

I need feedback because I have some amazon.com codes to use up and these were one of the things I was looking at getting for her.

    Thanks for all feedback!

If she won't let you put a toothbrush in her mouth...I wouldn't be putting my hands in her mouth with a wipe...she's apt to bite ya.

I'd just be a meany butt and hold her down and brush! Have you tried the ones that are battery operated..and then don't use toothpaste. that will help her get used to it.

why don't you just give her a toothbrush when you are brushing your teeth and let her mimic you. My DS(4) now brushes his teeth pretty well with a no flouride toothpaste, and my DD(18 mos) will use her toothbrush with just water and mimic how I brush my teeth. We just make it fun for them, like a game, and they do it.

Myy DD is nearly 2.5 and does not like me to brush her teeth either. This is what I do. I brush my teeth while both girls practice on their teeth, and I show them how I brush. Then mama gets a turn brushing their teeth to finish up. If she fusses, I'm a mean mama and just do it. It needs to be done, and she needs to learn to do it. I think the wipes would be counter productive because she's not learning how to do it.

The girls also have fun toothbrushes. They had the battery operated ones for a while, and now they have penguins we got from the dentist. Can she pick out her own brush and paste to use? Or have her practice on her baby doll?
