Gymboree Gymbucks- Anyone know much about these?

I have heard of people using and trading these before but I never got any then recently I was shopping and the cashier told me I qualify for $25 gymbucks but if I spent like $4 more I would get $50 so I bought like 2 pairs of socks. Well, the gymbuck she gave me says $25 on it but she said she scanned in $50. Is this correct? Or did I get screwed out of $25? So I know you have to spent $100 to use $50... are there any other restrictions? Like can they be used on clearance? Can they be used at the Gymboree outlet? Thanks so much if anyone has any info!

The actual Gymbuck always looks the same no matter the dollar amount. You have to keep it with your original receipt. Never seperate the two or it is not valid. Yes, I am sure you have $50 in Gymbucks. They always enter the amount into the computer. Now when you go in to redeem them, you have to spend at least $100 and then you will get $50 off. So, basically you get $100 worth of stuff for $50. Hope that helped!

You can use them on anything...but they can only be spent at a certain time.

Yes, mine are valid now so I was going to go use them this weekend. But I didn't know the receipt had to be included and I think I don't have it anymore :(

Actually I think you can trade the online code from them on here because you don't need the receipt for that. At least that was what I was told in the past.

I am pretty sure you can still use them online. You do not have to mail in the receipt or anything when you redeem them online.

Gymbucks are only valid at the Gymboree retail store or online at gymboree.com. So, no, they cannot be used at Gymboree Outlet. There are no restrictions on the type of merchandise (i.e. clearance, accessories, etc.). Your receipt in which you earned the Gymbucks will show how much in Gymbucks you earned. The coupon states $25, because they are in $25 increments.

I don't wanna trade them... I want to use them!!! LOL. Thanks for the info!! Gymboree is an hour away from here and I just happened to be there school shopping at the time that I got the bucks. I was planning on making a trip back specifically to use them... but if they are valid online SWEET!!! Thanks so much for filling me in on that!

I am pretty sure you can but you just have to do the math and be careful that after your coupon the total is still above your minimum amount necessary to use your gymbucks. Happy Shopping!!

Just want to chime in here-not that the OP was asking this but since it came up, you can trade the Gymbuck CODES on here. But you cannot trade the receipts with the physical gymbucks for use in store.
