| Box Tops For Homeschoolers I contacted them to find out
this is the letter I got... Good to know..
Thank you for your interest in the General Mills Box Tops for Education
program. We apologize, but at this time, individual home schools are
not eligible to participate in the Box Tops for Education Program, but
Home School Associations containing 15 or more students for educational
purposes are. Parents with home-schooled children should encourage
their
association to register with General Mills Box Tops for Education
program.
At this time, we have made the economic decision to limit program
participation to accredited kindergarten through eighth grade public,
private, parochial, military schools (worldwide) and qualifying home
school associations.
We appreciate your interest in the General Mills Box Tops for Education
program. Thank you and have a great day!
Sincerely
Betty P.

| Re: Box Tops For Homeschoolers didn't they used to let individual homeschools participate though? Seems like when we homeschooled we collected for it. (We never got enough, so when the kids went to private school, we donated all of the box tops to them.) |

| Re: Box Tops For Homeschoolers This is how my homeschool participates--when I get a lot, I sell them on ebay. They go for close to face value. Then I get much of the money and some school somewhere also gets the money. Everybody wins.

| Re: Box Tops For Homeschoolers I didn't know you could sell those. Interesting.
I have two problems with the Box Tops for Education program. 1) I homeschool, and we only have 9 students, and dh would not go for having 6 more "just for the dimes" (and our oldest few would be out of the home by then anyway) and 2) we rarely eat any of the BTFE products! Now, if they'd put them on stuff like bananas, dry beans, rice, and whole turkeys, I'd be in heaven- oh, and if I could use them, LOL!
Seriously, though- thanks for posting that information. I have always wondered, but had a feeling that would be their policy. But I didn't know that about the association part- I'll have to keep that in mind!

LOL I had 7 students, but one moved out, so we're down to 6 now. I used to collect them for the group I was in, but that group is no longer. Now I sell them on ebay or trade them.
