I thought the same thing! The commercial gears these diapers to older babies who are on the go and squimy during diaper changes. They are trying to make it seem like these diapers would make diaper changes easier-but I think it would be harder than just pulling the tabs and sticking them to the diaper.

Ummm yeah, I have never understood why it was easier to put a pull up type thing on than a diaper. My kid would squirm even more having to pull it on. Unless it's to get them used to Pull Ups and make them think those are "big kid pants" so then they want the more expensive ones rather than diapers.

Pull Ups are a gimmick if you ask me. The only time I ever use them is in the early stages of potty training if I have to take my kid to the church nursery or somewhere else where I don't want anyone else to clean up the mess.

"Pull-ups", Exactly! However, I'm a bit interested to try them. DS refuses to lay still when changing his diaper, but still the 2t's are still too big for him. Keeping fingers crossed for a stock up deal, since I think we're set until we get to the real pull ups. LOL

I was able to test this product about a month before it came out. They are just like the Little Swimmers. I didn't like them because you put then on then pull them up and with my daughter they just didn't fit right. I won't be purchasing these or wanting to get them for free.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw these in the store the other night... I was thinking, "Okay, nice marketing gimmick... they're the same freakin' thing as pull ups!!"

Honestly I understand how everyone thinks its just another scheme but I'm excited. my dd is SSOOO hard to change she just will NOT stay still but she will let me put swimmers or even just clothes on her just standing in front of me so I think personally these will work for us.

Also there is a deal at tru/bru for these Saturday only they will be $7 a jumbo pack and there's a $3 off coupon for them in this weeks inserts. Not a fantastic price but still kinda cheap if you just want to try them.

I love how the commercial I saw for them showed the baby running & squirming around as it talks about squirmy babies... then automatically switched over and shows the parent pulling the diaper up on the standing baby and says how easy it is. They seem to have removed the part where you have to actually get the child to put each leg in each hole!

And I can't even imagine how much nastier a poopy blowout would be in one of those. Having to keep them still while you tear down the sides? Yick.
