Ya'll are funny the ones who told me to put her only in undies never bring back the pullups....

Second sentence in the OP was she has been naked pretty much the entire day for 6-7 months.....I've cleaned more poo and pee off the ground then I did potty training a puppy.....dog took about 3 days...LOL

Her school was 2 days a week from 9-12 and only on 1 day would I put her in pull ups as there was a helper 1 of the days. Church is from 9-11 roughly on Sundays...and it was a rule for pull ups unless potty trained.

But, thanks for all the ideas...haven't seen one I haven't tried yet....

HOWEVER....she is getting pretty happy when she could give her baby sis a piece of candy (bliss from CVS)....if she went pee...she tried to poo to give baby sis another piece of candy....think I *might* have an idea a brewing wish me luck.

If she's been naked for 6-7 months and still doesn't have it, she's just not ready for it. Or she's more stubborn than you are. Put her back in diapers, and wait. She will not go to kindergarten in diapers!

    Yup

She's either not ready...or your in a huge power struggle with her. She's winning

The only way to win it...is to stop fighting over the potty training via not trying to do it any longer and give it some more time.

I see you have a 3 and 2 year old also. Perhaps if one of them get potty trained before her she will do it.

DD asked to go potty at her brother's football practice and used a big potty with her little travel seat. It has Elmo on it, and she was happy to sit on Elmo. Who knew that's all it took?! No accidents in that 2 hour span because she made it to the potty in time twice!

One more thing you need to do one thing and sick with it, even if its for weeks on end so she knows it not going to get any better from her on out unless she just dose it....I would do no pull ups/diaper at all and be loud and happy about it when she gose.

No way would i have cleaned the poo up, she done it she needs to be the one to clean it up..even if you have to take her hands with paper and make her pick it up.....

My julia tried that one time for she did not want to go in the potty number 2 so she went in the floor, well she was in the bathroom 30 minutes or longer crying to come out and not have to clean it up but when she saw that I was not letting her step foot out until she cleaned up her mess she cleaned it up...that never happen again

The no diaper and undee thing works NOT naked for with the undees she has to get all nasty and wet which they usually dont like much after about the 3 rd time...no clothes well thats easy for you I know but it lets her know that all she has to do is go and you clean it up..but when she is a mess all wet and/or nasty she has to deal with it being all over her and not feeling to go to her, after few times and she finds out that your not going to just let her have a pull up or go naked she will get tried of the feeling that nasty stuff and just go in the potty...I also would take my time in cleaning her up let her stand in the bathroom a few minutes so she has to feel it on her, yes I know I never wantted to deal with that mess either but sometimes thats what it takes.....tell her when she dose that at school the kids are going to laugh at her and call her a baby so she really needs to get on the potty and go for you know that she is a big girl not a baby..

been threw it with 4 kids...

I know I'm a bit late to the "party" as you've already figured a way to get things working, but had to share..

I completely feel your pain on the stubbornness and Accidents after having been on the potty minutes before. The only thing that helped my son, was having his preschool Teachers Taking him to the bathroom with the rest of the class (even when he refused to go, which was more than not)... and Making him help with the laundry from the "accidents". One day, as I was praising him for using the toilet all day long and having no accidents, he got tearful and said he didn't get to help with any laundry all day long. I could have died with the silliness of what actually worked after all the drama of him wanting to go, then wanting to be back in diapers, then wanting to go again etc.. all the doctors visits and advice to be sure there wasn't a medical issue.

Didn't find out until about 6 months after he had been totally potty trained with no trouble at home or when we were out or visiting (He started to have accidents at school -everyday- in Kindergarten), That he has fairly severe (for his age) anxiety disorder, and the noise of the toilet, even SEEING the toilet frightened him. He'd -never- given any indication of that other than refusing to go, or peeing in it but refusing to poop in it.

My takeaway from all of that was this: Sometimes, kids are stubborn, sometimes there's a reason. Most of the time, expect to feel like you have no idea what you're doing and just roll with it.

Congrats! I was so happy when my twins finally got potty trained! They still wear a pullup at night just because they do have some accidents but itsnt it great when they finally learn?!
