Being Pregnant & Not Knowing ?!?

Does anyone else watch the television show "I didn't know I was Pregnant?"

It seems so strange to me! But I had a cousin who found out she was pregnant at 7 months and the only reason she found out was because she had been trying very hard to lose weight (she was overweight) & wasn't able to so she went to the doctor to see about getting on a weight loss pill. He was going to put her on one so he needed to do a full physical first & ended up discovering she was pregnant. So if she weren't so serious about losing weight, she could have probably easily went 2 more months without knowing.

I'm curious if anyone here has ever not known? Or didn't find out until way later in the pregnancy than we would normally.

I knew I was pregnant with all of mine before my missed period! Thanks EPT! lol

I am overweight...a lot of it in my tummy...but there is something different when your pregnant. Even now...It doesn't feel like I have hard basketball in my gut..where when your pregnant...ya.

and when the baby is moving, especially when your seeing things like feet stick out...WTH do they think that is??

I didn't know I was pregnant until I was four months along... I have a very messed up female system & never had regular cycles...The only reason I even took a pregnancy test was because I was arguing with DH about getting another tattoo and he told me the least I could do was take a test beforehand (he didn't think I would). We were shocked because I had been on birthcontrol & never missed a pill. I didn't gain any weight until I was 7 & 3/4 months pregnant (never bought maternity clothes or looked pregnant, just slightly heavier during months 8 & 9) and didn't feel the baby move until I was 7 months along too. My second pregnancy I was also on birthcontrol religiously...and got pregnant again...however, that pregnancy was completely opposite of the first. I knew when I was only 3 weeks along, I gained 72 lbs (lost it all- Thank goodness) and showed at 4 months.

Wow, I couldn't even imagine. I knew with all 3 of mine within the first month or so. I guess if it's your first and you don't know any better, it's possible not to know. Although, I couldn't imagine delivering and not knowing I was pregnant.

Oh 4 months I can get. If you don't feel any different...you don't normally feel the baby that early anyways.

I'm just fairly certain...that if I was laying down and a foot started sticking out of my belly...I'd assume I was pregnant..even if I had periods the entire time.

lol. The foot coming out of nowhere can definitely be freaky!! I am just not so sure if the whole tattoo arguement hadn't taken place that I would have known before 7 months...I literally had no movement, no weight gain, no real symptoms. I am not normal though... my GYN tells me this every time I see her. lol. It's really mind blowing to think someone wouldn't know until they were in labor though!

I watched one eppy, where the girl was very petite to begin with and only gained ten pounds. She didn't get a bump or see movement or anything like you would expect. Baby was full term and healthy, weighed 6 or 7 pounds.

Yep I actually have though aobut this topic alot the last few days. A mom on my Ds t-ball team has a newborn and her oldest is 17. Appraantly she never found out she was prego until she was almost 8 mo along. It was a real shock to her and her dh. I just thought to my self this lady had been pregnat 3 times before and had no idea she was pregnat with this baby. I just giggled and thought yeah I guess it would be a real surprise. The lady also told me if he Dh was any older when it happend she thinks he would have had a heart attack when she told him. They are great parents though. The baby is a doll looks just like her sister that is playing t- ball ith my son.

I didn't figure out my second one till I was about 14 weeks along. I was in quite good shape at that time and couldn't figure out why my pants were getting tight in the thighs. I thought they were shrinking. My taste buds went waaaaay off with him too and everything tasted terrible. All I could stand was mexican food and fried eggs and hash browns. lol I didn't miss a period till the 4th month. Most people didn't even realize I was pregnant till I was about 8 months along.

Now I'm old and fat and folks don't dare ask me if I'm pregnant. I'm just fat. hehe I knew with all my other pregnancies, just not with that one.
