I don't think you are too young...our bodies are made to have babies in our twenties, I know many people like to wait but that is not for everyone. Losing weight will also help your fertility. I had my first at 23 and yeah I was young according to cultural standards but I don't normally follow cultural standards anyway. I do agree with others loing weight will mean an easier pregnancy. I was slightly overweight prior to conceiving #2, but lost about 25lbs which put me right at my ideal weight and I had no complications at all, bp was always great, no issues, my dd came out a healthy 9lb 3oz and at term , no interventions all natural birth and if you wanting something like that, like a pp said you have to be in shape for walking, squatting and eventually pushing labor, it is like training for a marathon... good luck! I used the plan eat to live lose my weight, though I wouldn't do it long as it is vegan and I find my body doesn't do well on a longterm vegan diet...
