Coupons in diaper packages?

I just found out my niece is expecting and due in December. I'm wanting to get her a good stockpile started and was wondering if there are ever coupons in diaper packages? I don't want to risk them expiring before she uses them, but on the other hand, I don't want to open all of the packages if they don't have any coupons. Can you tell I don't have any kiddos??? I figured you guys would be in the know and would be able to give me some guidance. Thanks in advance!!!

I would say it's pretty rare and not worth opening every package to see if there is a coupon. I have had kids in diapers since 12/07, and I have probably found 10-15 coupons in a package ever. Most of them were expired because I stockpile so far in advance. However, the coupons in the packages were never any better than ones you can find online or from the inserts.

you usually find the coupon booklets in the bigger boxes of diapers and it'll usually say on the outside of the box f there are coupons in there. sometimes the coupons are really good and then there are some that aren't. i just picked up the huggies pull ups potty training kit and there were some decent coupons in there, only 1 coupon expires 6/30/11 the rest don't expire til 12/31/11, and it just wasn't baby/kid coupons in there ther were also coupons for cottonelle, kotex, kleenex, viva and scott. sometimes the coupons maybe good for you to use or you can always trade them b/c they may be better suited for someone else in a different part of the country. a year and a half ago, taget can the pampers boxes of diapers with $30 worth of coupons in it and i think i was able to get probably at least 5 or 6 boxes the the coupons in them, and some of them i was able to trade on here b/c they were either ones that i definately wasn't going to use or they were ones that were better suited for other people. (ie:align $5/1 coupon) hope this helps

You can go to most of the websites for diaper companies you like and if you put in the mother's due date they'll send you a sample and some coupons for all kinds of baby stuff. I haven't done it in a while because I've switched to cloth, but occasionally I use paper ones and I know huggies used to do that.

Your best shot is the P&G boxes. Usually they will tell you on the box that there are coupons inside.

I bought some pampers last year, the jumbo pack, they had coupons in them. They were the bagged ones not the boxed ones so it was pretty easy to tell they were in there as the coupons were printed on thin cardboard. Just an FYI. Good Luck on the stockpile!

I opened a pack of Easy Ups tonight for my DD3. It had a coupon - yay! It expired 9/30/09 lol. Apparently I've had that pack for a while.
