I felt a bond with my ob who delivered 3 of my children over 10 years...he retired this year which is fine with because I am not having anymore children. However I often joked that he was my other other half! :)

No real bond. I was new to the area and she was the only female OB available to see me within a decent time frame. She is conveniently located a half mile from my house and she delivers at the hospitals that is one mile from my house. She did deliver both of my DDs and if we ever have any more, I would go to her again if we are still in the area... mostly for convenience. She is a great OB but not too impressed with the GYN side of things.. I see a different GYN for all other female care. However, if my current GYN did OB as well... I wouldn't go to anyone else EVER. She is an awesome doctor and really LISTENS. She literally makes me feel like I am her only patient.

We moved last summer from the place where both our children were delivered by the same OB. I had a pretty rough first delivery by c-section and my second was a super-fast and great VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). I have known my OB for 5 years now and I do consider him to be a very special part of this time in my life (and his partner). We are expecting #3 in July and he will be missed in the delivery room.

I had 2 high risk pregnancies and I had a high risk OB. I really liked her. I wasn't as attached the first time I think, but the 2nd time, she knew me and my tendencies and it made it easier. She's pretty close in age to me, maybe 5-6 years older so I saw her more like a big sister. She was really sweet and spunky. If I had a 3rd, I'd want to use her again.
