I breastfed so my daughter slept with me in my bed. It was easier for me and she never got rolled on!

NEVER - I drop kick them out the door as soon as they can climb out of the crib.
I think 5-6 is a good cut off age. We co-slept with them either in our bed or in our room when they were little babies, still nursing/eating every few hours. Then moved them to their own room. A few nights here and there if someone is sick/has a nightmare it would be OK to sleep with us, but even then if someone was sick or had a bad dream either DH or I would just take the kid out to the living room so the other parent could sleep. In the case of a sick kid, there is nothing worse then sleeping and having a kid barf on you.

I breastfeed my kids. And since the house we used to live in was not the greatest. We cosleeped with all 3 kids. DD1 twin bed, DS between hubby and i and DD2 in a crib i rebuilt to be right beside me like a co sleeper. We since have moved to a better house but my oldest dd who is 7 cant stand to sleep by herself so all 3 kids sleep in 1 room makes her fill better.
DS slept in a bassinet in our room until he was 2 months old. On his 2 month birthday, I moved him to his crib and haven't looked back. I dread when we travel and have to use the pack and play-because he just doesn't sleep well.
He sleeps SO much better in his own bed, in his own room.
Proud mom to an adorable two year old little boy!
Please excuse my spelling-my LO is on the loose and just learned how to climb-so I am typing as fast as I can!
