Permanent marker on skin!!

So turn around my sons tapping me on the shoulder. He found a blue permanent marker somewhere. Have no clue where it was or came from. He drew blue polka dots all over his face!!! So question is anyone know the best and easiest way to remove permanent marker from a childs face. I cant help but laugh everytime i see his face. Luckily its friday!

Rubbing alcohol should work.

Well I would say acetone...but you really shouldn't put that on his face.

Give him a few baths...it will wear off.

ooh goody. ill try that! Everything i kept coming across was saying baby oil wich i dont have! But i will def give the rubbing alcohol a try since i have that in my house!!

If you have anything with acetone in it like nail polish remover, it will take it off. Though with it being on his face he might end up a little high from the alcohol smell.
Regular nail polish remover will take some of it off but not all of it.

That would be my attitude about it.
Actually I have sent my kids to school with markings. DD3 is very famous for writing on herself, i give up on trying to scrub it off. DD1 & DD2 decided to put fake tattoos on their face.... yep they had to wear it until it came off.

So of everything in my house i had nail polish removed. I dabbed it on a tissue. Got lucky he only did polka dots so it was easier to manage with the nail polish removed. he still has some light blue dots but im not gonna try and rub his face raw! Looks better then it does. If its still their monday ill just tell his teacher he thought it would look kewl cuz thats what he told me! I swear I should have just left it like that until monday! I threw out the marker though! I dont even know where it was all of a sudden he has a marker in hand and blue dots on his face! Im telling ya he just better be glad today is friday lol. chances are most of it will be gone by monday!
