Ok this might be odd but my son drew on his arms w/marker and I grabbed a magic eraser and gave it a shot. It removed almost all of it. I just rubbed gently alittle at a time until it was gone. Got to love them there erasers!!
The lady at our local Michaels who does the kids activities told us that if you rub with milk as soon as it happens it will remove it. we've never tried it, but worth a shot if it happens again and you can do it before it sets in.

guess the erasers are magic! it looks to be totally gone now. And lucky for him we got hit with snow so there was no school today nor is there school tomorow either.
Magic Erasers have been known to cause chemical burns on skin so I would avoid using them in that way. See Snopes
the initial "rumor" of formaledhyde in them was false but if you read further there is an ingredient that can cause a burn and the manufacturers had taken steps to add the warning.
My 2yr old has done it 3 times now. I think I have all the markers up and he finds another.. But I used toothpaste, not gell, you want paste. It took a lot of it off and gave him a minty fresh smell..lol. Oh and if it ever on clothes, rubbing alcohol works great.
