Re: formula q Here's my thought...formula is one of the most regulated things in the US. I know that they are very cautious. With that said...I really stick by the "rules" of formula (within reason).
If made powder formula is more than 24 hours old, I throw it out.
If a used bottle is more than an hour old I usually dump it (with in reason...I don't stop a feeding...but if it is sitting there for 30 minutes and she decides she wants to eat again...and had already been "nursing" the bottle for 45 minutes or so...I probably would make a fresh one).
So I've been one of those people that if the powder is over a month old I throw it out. Again, with in reason. I mean...if it is 32 days and I'm using up the powder...then I won't toss it. But if it is 45 days old, I'd probably toss it.
But that's just me. I'm sure others may have another opinion. |
