Default Gymboree

Can someone here please let me know if Gymboree brand clothing runs small or big or true to size?

I would like to bid on an item on ebay but without knowing how the stuff runs...I can't risk it.

The item is a winter coat.

TYIA

usually they're pretty true to size. What line is it from, that may help to determin how that specific item runs. Lately I've noticed DS's t's shrinking, not all of them but at least half. Older Gymbo has much better quality so if it's older I wouldn't worry about it.

I think some stuff can run a little wide, but I think you should be fine ordering the right size. I will say I think the first winter I should have ordered my babies two coats because my daughter outgrew hers in late Feb and you can't find another one that time of year.

I think it runs a little short and wide, but that's probably more my tall, skinny kid's problem more than Gymbo's.

I actually for my kids (regardless of the brand) usually pick one size larger for a coat...because I don't want to have to buy a new one mid season.

Default Re: Gymboree

^ I was just going to add that about the jacket. I always buy one size bigger for jackets and pjs (so they don't get to tight during the whole season...since pjs are a two season "outfit" in our house at least)

Plus...I think it depends sometimes...b/c some of the summer stuff ran really big on ds in his first year. He was wearing 3-6 when he was almost 9 months and it still wasn't even close to being too short on him by any means. About to start stocking up for DD for next summer...not sure if I shooukd stick w/ 6-12 or jump to 12-18? She will be 1 beginning of May? Thoughts?
