Where can I buy cheap toddler bibs?

Looking for terry cloth type that pull over the head (no velcro, snaps or ties), that cover the child's shoulders, from the neck to the waste.

Anyone know where I can find these at a cheap price?

Not the terry kind, but they do have sleeves and cover the whole front....

IKEA has 2 packs of a nylon bib with a catch pocket for $3.99. They are easy to wash and do a good job.

No IKEA near me, but I'll keep it in mind if I can't find the terry cloth bibs. Since they are nylon, they probably don't pull over the head, right? Do they get stiff after alot of washing?

Yard sales...most of the time they wil have a few stains but you can get them for like 25 cents around here. Just look for the ones that have baby stuff. I have a swap and shop radio show if you have anything like that put it on there that you are looking for them.

Have you tried the $ store? By the third kid I skipped the bibs and just put a kitchen towel loosely around them, secured with a clothespin in the back. Not attractive, but effective. :-)

You may also find some on ebay...the ones you wnat are hard to find for that was the kind I liked. I found them at walmart and General Dollar but it took a few trips.

Thanks for the ideas. I'd love to find them at yard sales, but most are the other kind that don't slip over the head. I posted an ISO on freecycle too, so we'll see. I'll keep looking.

I don't know that they are long enough for what you want, but Toys R Us/Babies R Us has some of the terry cloth ones that you pull over for 3.99 each. I got one for my daughter who is 4 1/2 mos old and is starting some solids.

You can recycle old sweatshirts into toddler bibs. I just cut with pinking shears a bib shape in from and left a narrow strip of fabric the rest of the way around the neckline to keep it intact (if that makes sense - don't cut throught the neckline). I had two of these bibs for years - they just pull over the head and wash great.
