I ended up getting the little gerber juice bottles. The reason being...is you should sparelingly give a baby juice...BUT I could put one of those juice bottles in the diaper bag...for a day where maybe I ran out of formula while out and about...or if the baby was particularily thirsty....I'd also purchased a few disposable nipples as well....so you just screw the nipple/ring onto the gerber juice bottle..and your good to go.

We just bought the big bottles of 100% juice or frozen juice concentrate and diluted it 50/50. We still dilute the juice and my youngest kids are almost 6. They prefer it that way. The only one we don't dilute these day is orange juice because I like it full strength.

neither of my DD's got juice til they were over a year old. I always had 100% juice in the fridge for DH and myself anyway. so, after they turned a year, I would take their straw cup and put just enough to taste and fill the rest w/water. it was like 30/70.

I started juice about the same time...I buy both regular bottles of 100% juice (Welch's Juice Juice, Apple & Eve, etc) but also buy the Gerber bottles, because they are great when you're in a hurry or on the go. I get an 18 pack from Sam's Club for about $8. I just screw on a bottle nipple and they work great that way!

We didn't give juice till after a year, and only a little bit then. My kids don't drink milk either, (one's allergic the other was and outgrew it but I'm still nervous about giving it regularly.) I asked my pedi about it and she said just water is fine and good. i don't think giving them a taste for sugar that young is a great idea personally. They'll never know the difference if you don't. When we give juice now we water it down a lot. I just think it's easier to never train them into something then to train them out of wanting juice all the time. Plus a forgotten sippy of water doesn't get moldy, usually.

I didn't give DD juice until after 1 year as well. And she really didn't take to it until closer to 18Ms. And even now, at almost 2, she only sometimes asks for juice, most of the time asks for milk and sometimes for water. I dilute the juice either 50/50 or 30/70 (the 70 being water). Juice includes 100% OJ like Simply Orange or sometimes 100% grape.
