Default How to use Formula Checks

I didn't see this anywhere else but can someone explain how to use a formula check. I have a few that I would like to use even though I am breastfeeding. I would like to have formula for back-up. Also, can you use MQ's with formula checks? Thanks!!

First off...congrats on the baby!

Second...formula checks aren't too bad. MrsP did a great job at telling you everything you'd need to know about formula checks here

To quickly answer your two questions:
1) Formula checks are just that...almost like a check. You give them to the cashier after you've given all your coupons
2) Yes they can be used with coupons.

Similac gives out $5.00 formula checks...here's what I do when I buy let's say one can of powder formula. I have a $1.00 coupon and a $5.00 check:

1) give my $1.00 coupon to the cashier along with my can of formula

2) after the cashier is ready for payment, I hand him/her the $5.00 formula check.

HTH!!

From my experience Babies R Us and Toys R Us let you use multiple checks per can of formula... free formula :)

Katie~
Everyone explained it well. Also if you buy baby stuff at Shoprite, you can earn bucks back. I haven't figured out where the cheapest formula can be found locally. I have used one check at RA with a 5/20 deal which saved me 10.00 and I am hoping to use some at ShopRite because I am 40.00 away from earning the 10 back on July 31. Also, if you don't want a lot of back up, Similac gives the 5.00 coupons and you can get the ready made (just pour and serve) formula for 5 or 6 bucks... but it has to be used in a much quicker time frame then the can of powder.

I had great success with ShopRite's baby bucks + formula checks + manufacturers' Q's on Similac. What I did was sell off all non-Similac checks/coupons I received via eBay. This helped offset the cost of Similac as well. Personally, I wouldn't go hog wild stocking up unless you test for allergies first.

just remember to hand over any coupons first! Mst registeres accept it like a normal check so once it goes through they cannot add anything to the order including coupons. I qualified for wic with both my children so i never used the formula checks but working in retail ive used them when people pay with them. Just whatever you do give all coupons before the check. Although if you do mess up im sure that htey can just refund the coupon amounts back to you. but once that checks been put in nothing can be added other then the other form of payment to finish the transaction.
