A fresh Thread: I'm Pregnant, Who Else is Too??

Hi everyone

I thought I'd start a fresh thread for those of us expecting as a lot of moms in the old thread have had their babies

I'll start: My name is Jill, I am pregnant with my 3rd child. This is my 3rd pregnancy in less than 3 years I'm an easy pregnant lady and actually enjoy it. No morning sickness with any pregnancies, no heartburn, no stretchies, no cravings....the only thing that bugs me is my sciatica but it's been o.k. So far. Who knows by the end though.....

I did put on a lot of weight with #1 but lost it all after having #2 So, now I'm back to square one and have a goal to not put on a lot of weight (I did great with #2, only 20+ lb's)

I am due 1/1/11. I am a repeat c/s momma and we're debating on scheduling the c/s for that day (it's a Sat. and my OB said I could have it then ) OR, having it the usual week prior (Christmas baby) and having another tax deduction It's early yet, so we're thinking it over....

So, who else is pregnant? Due date? Will you find out the baby's sex? Anything else you'd like to share??

I'm also pregnant with #3. Due 12/10/10. My daughter will be almost 6 and my son will be 18 days shy of 3 when the baby comes. We find out the sex in a couple weeks. I've been very very sick this time...I've lost 25# in the last 10 weeks. Never puked with either of the other 2 so I'm not sure what is different this time.

We have 2 little girls now, 4 and 2, and a positive ept test on sunday for number 3. Made the dr's appt today. My previous ob/gyn office, the 2 dr's who started the practice, decided to go their separate ways. Since I did not have any loyalties to either of them, I had to choose a new office. With the new office, and several other factors surrounding the 2 major hospitals in my city, I will even be delivering at a different hospital than I did with the first 2 kids. As excited and happy as I am about this new baby, I am also scared beyond belief. My job will be ending in january and from there I really don't know if I will be able to find a job. I am taking medical classes now, to help prepare for the end of my employment contract. I guess-timate my due date to be around middle of march, so who is going to hire a 8-9 month pregnant medical assistant, when she will be leaving on maternity leave within a month? I know it's my fault. I know I should have been more careful, but here I am. My husband and I planned on another baby, before we found out about my job issue, and we are thrilled to have this blessing. I just hope I made the right decision. Will post again when I know more.
Blame it on the hormones, I'm just overwhelmed with emotions right now.

My husband and I just found out Friday night we are expecting #2! I have one son now, Thomas, and he's 15 months old. We had been trying to get pregnant with #2 but when my husband got transferred to a job in the same company 2 hours away we decided to wait- then SURPRISE! Apparently I had already gotten pregnant at that time! We're staying with my mom and dad (they have an unused finished basement bigger than our house!!) for now until we can sell our house because they live "only" 50 minutes away. It's better than being fired but we quite honestly cannot afford the gas from our house to his job and back everyday so this is what we're doing untill we can sell our house and buy something closer. I'm hoping our house sells quick- we're just finishing up a few things then listing it.

My last pregnancy was terrible. I lost like 30# from sickness and had migranes the entire time. This time nothing bad yet. I'm really excited but I'm scared, too. I just hope the house sells soon.

Other than my hubby, you guys are the only people who know! I just want to wait a little bit before we tell the family so we can see what happens. I think this was a great idea for a new thread. My due date as of now if February 15th, but last time it got pushed back 14 days because I have long cycles (TMI?) and didn't get pregnant at the "normal" time. So I am thinking Feb 20th-25th ish is what they'll have me at when I have my first U/S.

Sorry about your job. :sad: I hope something will come along for you. I don't have any idea what your finances are or anything like that but maybe you could atleast find something after the baby is born so you can have a little time to rest.

I'm pregnant for the second time but this time is a little different. We're having twins! My son is 3 and I'm due July 29th. However, the doctor says he won't let me go past 38 weeks because they're twins and that makes me high risk, so we're looking at the middle of July. I'm at 36 weeks on Thursday.

The first pregnancy was awesome. I loved being pregnant and gained about 35 pounds. This time I'm miserable and I've gained about 25 pounds. I'm huge and would love to go into labor this very second. I know, I know it's better for the babies to wait but I can hardly move even though I've gained less weight. How does that work? you ask. I'm not sure but that's how it is. My belly button has even gone from being an innie to an outie, sorry if that's TMI.

Sorry if I sound like I'm complaining. I'm not trying to but sometimes that's how it comes out.

Congrats!! Sorry you are so uncomfortable. I cannot even imagine how it would be to try to do anything being pregnant with twins. I felt like everything was 4 times as hard as usual towards the end of my last pregnancy. Hopefully soon!

Good luck with the job hunt!!! I am lucky enough to be able to SAHM for now. I know crazy hormones though. Darn things Got be crying left and right for no reason. I teared up at the end of A Beautiful Mind yesterday all the while telling DS to "Move out of the way of the t.v!!!" LOL.

Welcome back!!! Nothing it TMI in this thread. Well, IMO....we're pregnant and have a lot going on

We went to Mexico ALONE in April and gone off BC in March and planned on getting pregnant this summer thinking it would take a few months. Turns out I was pregnant in Mexico and we went out and partied several nights in a row. Oops The older I get, apparently the more fertile I get, lol.

WOW!!!! Congrats on the twins!!! I so SOOO jealous. Yes. I know, I'm crazy but I've always wanted twins

this is baby #3 for us. we have 6 y/o son and our daugther will be a little over 2 y/o when the baby girl will be born; my due date is 11-21-10 (the sunday of Thanksgiving week! and i am thankful for her.) this is perfect timing because i'm back is school full-time, argh! and i'll graduate in may, god-willing

we are excited, of course i wish it was twins because we'd be done. i want 4 kids. but i will take what i can get, i just want her to be healthy and happy

congrats to everyone who is expecting!

and i truly believe that babies come when they are suppose to; we may not think that we are ready for them at that time but it has worked out for us every time. they help to shape and guide our lives. my kids (and every pregnancy) are testaments to that.

Fun thread! I'm pregnant with my first..due 12/30/10. Haven't been sick yet, just somedays I'm tired and don't even want to get out of bed. I've already started stockpiling free wipes and diapers, so that's been a fun addition to my couponing :)

I'm not sure if we'll find out the sex...we WERE.....BUT after talking to his dad and hearing how wonderful the surprise is, and how it's something to help me in labor-just wondering and waiting for the surprise, now we're not sure! I want to decorate and pre buy stuff at garage sales, but that will make it hard.

Another thing...thanks to the lovely world of self employment, I have no maternity insurance (would have been 650 add'l per mo, can't get prego for 12 months and then a $5K deduct...crazy!!!!!!) and thanks to the advice from someone on this site, I'm going to a Birth Center...3300 TOTAL! Prenatal, delivery and 4 post natal visits...cross your fingers for me that all goes well and I can deliver there- I LOVE THE PLACE ALREADY, super sweet gals, it's truly different than a hospital. I always said I'd use drugs the minute I felt pain, wellll....I guess I just have to tough it out this time. I'm SO afraid, but I am not going to think about it until I'm delivering and it's too late to worry :))))
