Thanks everyone for the great advice! I do have some questions, im so confused on what I can and cant eat, I was told I couldnt eat lunch meat, tuna fish, etc., its driving me crazy! Also, I have a house cat that I love, but I was told I should get rid of him because Im not suppost to have him near me, I know Im not suppost to clean his litter box, DH does that for me, but do I really have to get rid of my cat?

NO, you do not need to get rid of your cat. People used to say this because some cats can carry a parasite called toxoplasmosis. The truth is, you have more chance of getting toxo from raw meat than your cat.

Have your hubby take care of litter duty and use common sense (wash your hands, etc.) If you've had a cat for a long time, you might even already have an immunity to toxo--a blood test can determine that.
