Funstuff Did you deliver your baby on time?

I was due with my first baby (boy) on March 24th. Well March has come and gone and this little guy is still not interested in making an appearance just yet! I am scheduled for an induction for Sunday night, which means if he is born on Monday, the 5th, I will be a couple of days shy hitting the 42 week mark. So, ladies, just for fun, with your first (or those LO's thereafter, if you would like to share) were you overdue, right on time or early!

Well, with my first child I got pre-eclampsia and delivered her 10 weeks early via emergency c/s... With my second, I went a couple days overdue and they performed a repeat c/s since I wasn't a candidate for induction. My story is anything but the norm though! Good luck with your new baby!

My 1st & 3rd were 2 weeks & almost 4 weeks early. With my 2nd, @ 5 months I found out I had a weak cervix & had to go on light bed rest, etc. Doctor kept telling me I would probably have her early. Well, I ended up having to be induced with her.

Congrats op! A new baby is the greatest thing in the world.

I was induced 5 days early with my first because I had low lying placenta and they wanted me in the hospital if any complications arose. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant with my second, and hoping she comes early, but who knows.

I've got to go back 30+ years for these memories, but here goes!

My first one (boy) was 2 days early. My second one (girl) was 18 days late...thankfully!!! Three days before my due date, I was "nesting" and decided to carry a stack of old newspapers to the basement. I had socks on my feet, and slipped, hitting my tailbone and the back of my head on each step until I reached the concrete floor at the bottom! My tailbone was broken, but they couldn't x-ray it, or give me any painkillers for relief. But, the doctor did tell me that if I went into labor within that week, he'd either have to do a c-section or knock me out, because the pain would have been unbearable! My sweet daughter waited for me to get better!

With my first, I had pre-eclampsia and was induced at 37.5 weeks.
My 2nd was born at 39 weeks, as well as my 3rd.

My first DD was like yours due date came and went...they induced me a week after my due date. My next DD came exactly on her due date...was not induced or anything, I was quite proud of her timing :)

    #1 was late...was induced
    #2 was late...was induced
#3 was late...they tried to induce for 2 freeking weeks and he would not come out. My water broke naturally and I went into labor. However his cord was prolapsed and we ended up needing a c-section.
#4 & 5 were born at 38 weeks via c-section after I went into labor naturally. Our hospital here does not do VBAC's but they were born at term for twins.

I always joke that none of my kids wanted to come out. Parker my son #3 was really hanging on tight. He has funny little curved toes (nothing wrong with them just funny looking) and we call him a little monkey who was hanging on inside me with his toes. LOL

My brother was born at 44 weeks a whole month after the due date. My mom said that he needed extra cooking time. I still think he is half-baked.

Thanks! I forgot to mention that my two were only 11 months apart, and that my son was napping when this happened (you know...gotta get the work done while they're sleeping!!)...and their dad was out with his friends. So I was basically alone in the house. Thank goodness I didn't lose consciousness!
