Please help me ladies- 3 mo. old and...

So I had a appt. yesterday with my OBGYN regarding my scaring from my past deliveries. Not to go into too much detail, but scaring doesn't stretch like uninjured skin does! So we were talking about having me use estrogen cream (again!) to help elasticise things. Until the nurse came in and handed him a pregnancy test that they took to as a precaution because my period was late. (it's been weird since I delivered)

I'm sure you all know where I'm going with this... I am pregnant.
My last period was 12/17/09 so it puts my due date at 9/23/10. Which means I got pregnant when my daughter was 7 1/2 weeks old. WHAT THE HECK???!!! Heavenly Father apparently has a sense of humor!!!

So if everything goes well, they will be 11 months apart. But I have delivered my last 3 children at 37 weeks naturally, which would put them at 10 months apart.

You can imagine I am in a state of shock. My OB says "Welcome Back!" I hadn't even left yet! LOL! I read though that most pregnancies this close to a delivery won't stick due to the mom's body not having enough time to recover yet. That their uterus just isn't ready yet. Anyone know about this? Is it true? Obliously every women is different.

We were looking into having DH snipped this spring before our deductible resets. It was like God wanted to hurry up and make things happen before we did something premanent. But he could have waited a little while longer! This will make 5 kids!

How in the world do parents do this? I still have 23 pounds (out of 52) of baby weight to loose. My baby still wakes up every night to eat so I still haven't gotten a full nights sleep. We always had a rule of only one kid in diapers at a time- we've been pretty close with that so far. So much for that! What do I do???

My husband and his sister are only 11 months apart as well, and I'm sure it won't be super easy but God doesn't give us more than we can handle. You are blessed w/ a 5th pregnancy/child, and I wish you the best.

Don't worry about the 23 pounds... you can lose it later on.

Situations like yours make me believe there must be some sort of reason for it! You'll do great. hang in there!

My cousin got pregant 2 weeks after giving birth...and it stuck.

However she delivered early.....luckily it was a short NICU stay. Your risks of a preemie goes up when they are that close together...so take care of yourself as much as you can. Eat more protien ect...

My brothers are 11 months apart, and they are now 26 and 25 years old :)

A friend of mine got pregnant 8 weeks after having her first and had no issues at all! In fact the second was bigger than the first (9+ lbs.) Congrats!!! You'll do fine!!!
