Default Help! I have a monster!

My dd is almost 3 and for the past week it's been torture. She's had days before where she tired and cranky, but for the past three days she's been throwing fits of crying, yelling, throwing things. I've tried everything. Today was the first day I have tried the corner and it worked a little. I think she's just doing it to us. We're all exhausted with all the crying and yelling. She's not sick or in pain btw. I need advice!

Is she constipated? Try some prune juice it worked wonders for DD. We didn't really know that she was but she felt better after a couple of days with a small glass of prune juice.

I gotta agree...sometimes it's ear infections or constipation.

Not constipated. We never have had that problem for years! She lives on eating fruits and veggies! She'll eat green beans raw! I don't think it's ear infection. Usually when she has teeth coming in she'll gnaw on my fingers or her fingers but I will have to check next time.

I really think it's a behavioral thing though. She gets mad because she wants her way and that's when the screaming and crying start.

Have you thought about calling super nanny? Just kidding! I feel for you, DS was prone to temper tantrums when he didn't get his way as well. Just be patient and firm, don't lose your cool and she'll figure out she isn't the boss of you!

Each time she starts that...I would probably just remove her and take her to her room and let her know she can come out when she's all done crying and screaming. Do it very calmly and without anger but be very serious with her. She'll soon figure out that all that screaming and crying gets is a trip to her room

You always hear about the "Terrible Twos", but no one ever mentions the "WTF Threes".

I am about to sell my 3 year old to the gypsies. But they wouldn't want him.
