Has any1 got pregnant with endo

Wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant with endo. I believe I have it and I am thinking there is no hope now. Any stories for encouragment? Thanks!

Yes. I have 3 kids. The endo didn't affect the first 2 and I didnt' find out I had it until after the 2nd was born. I had a lot of pain during the first part of that pregnancy. Along with other problems and not being able to get pregnant, my doctor did explority (sp) surgery and found it. He lazered it off and I got pregnant right away. I did end up having an hysterectomy but not because of the endo but that was a deciding factor to just go ahead and take everything.

I have a coworker with it and she has a beautiful 1 year old little girl...tho it was difficult for her to conceive.

I had endometriosis for a few years before I got married and tried to conceive. My dr. put me on the depo shot (don't do that!) which added more problems. I had laproscopic surgery twice...3 years apart. Long story short, I got pregnant one month before beginning fertility treatment. :) I have a 13 month old little girl now.

Also, my sister had endometriosis and was able to have 2 children.

I also got pregnant for my last child after I had been diagnosed with endo. Good luck.

My BF tried for 8+ years to get pregnant and even did invetro with no success so they adopted 1 year and 4 months ago.

OH, BTW she is due next month :)))) Every person I know that has turned to adoption, ended up pregnant within a year, strange how that works :) GOOD LUCK

Endo does not have to mean infertility. Some women live with it their entire lives and never even knows she has it as the symptoms can be nonexistent to extremely debilitating. I was diagnosed when I was 18, but it was determined that it had been around for at least 5 years when my frequent doctor visits began. It took me years to get diagnosed because the thought used to be that young women didn't have this disease. I had laproscopic surgery and a D&C to ensure all endo was removed when I was 18. My doc wanted me to go into a psuedo-menopause for 6 mos to a year to ensure the estrogen in my body did not instigate regrowth. But I refused because the risk of staying in menopause is real and I knew I wanted to have children later in life. The doctor gave me a 50/50 chance to have children with the menopause and a 35% chance without. I now have 2 beautiful little girls (one conceived while on BC).

A lot of infertility with endo has to do with where it is placed (has it caused any scar tissue or adhesion), the stage/level of the disease, and/or the removal side affects (again, scar tissue or adhesions).

If you are seriously concerned that you have endo, please get diagnosed. A qualified gynecologist can direct you in the most appropriate treatment for your situation.
