Tips for taking away the binkie

When I saw this I first thought it said "blinkies." :) I thought it was about discreetly taking blinkies at the store & I was thinking "Dang, I just stand there and wait on the next one to come out."

No offense here. I was being sarcastic(not my best trait, I see). I won't even let my kids have them after 12 months.

I could write a small book on the disadvantages to pacifiers from a former elementary school teacher prespective and a mother. But, I could also show a girl whose teeth are horribly malshapen from constant thumb sucking and she is almost 5! Her mother has tried everything from cinnamon to hot sauce. Her mother sarcastically joked about chopping it off as a last resort.
