| Re: Kids say the darndest things! What has your LO said lately that had you in stitches? I asked "Which of the babies had a poo?"
My 5 yo said "None, that sissy (4 yo)"
I said "She had a poo in her underwear?"
He said (laughing) "No, mommy, she had a poopy bubble."
I was laughing so hard I was in tears. It took me about 3 seconds of staring at him before I got what he meant.
I asked "Poopy Bubble?" (Just curiosity why he called it that.)
He said "Yeah you know. When you are taking at bath, and you make bubbles, and it smells like poo."

| Re: Kids say the darndest things! What has your LO said lately that had you in stitches? There are so many and I can't remember most of them! I should be writing them down. But this morning, DS (2.5yo) came up to me with, hmm what shall I call it, goo on his fingers.
"What is that, E?"
"Mama, eye boogies!"
"Ok, let me get a tissue."
"Mama, where do eye boogies go? Up my nose?" And he sticks one goo-tipped finger up there.
I guess he figured that's the boogies' home and they got lost or something? They did end up safely in the tissue...

| Re: Kids say the darndest things! What has your LO said lately that had you in stitches? My oldest was 6, my middle was 4. We were are the store and there was a "wet floor" sign out.
My oldest asked "what does that sign me"
My middle daughter, who was 4, layed down and put her arms and legs up in the air, assuming the position on the sign (the black stick figure slipping in water) and said "it means you cant do this!"
The lady next to me almost peeded she was laughing so hard.

| Re: Kids say the darndest things! What has your LO said lately that had you in stitches? Oh! And one that had me in stitches from DH today. (DS related, lol!) A big reason we potty trained DS already is that DH was just plain sick of looking at our little boy's bum-hole every time we changed his dipe. (Gross, but I know you parents are with me on this!)
Now, even potty trained, we've been having to wipe him, of course, and DH still complains about it in a joking way. DS retaliates by showing off his "back door" to DH every chance he gets. (They're the worst button-pushers - both of 'em!)
Today I got the Huggies flushable moist wipes and DS was thrilled!! He wanted to wipe himself with his "big boy" wipes and did a pretty good job. I left DH a message about it and got the following text back very quickly:
"Thank you gods of jelly and jam and thunder!"

| Re: Kids say the darndest things! What has your LO said lately that had you in stitches? oh, yes, DS likes the Huggies wipes too. He says, "Those Cars wipes are for MY BUTT! The princess ones are for Sissy. I can wipe my own butt, but only if I have THESE WIPES!" (as he holds up the pack).
He is obsessed with the book Everyone Poops. As in, he recites it at odd times or tells us he is making elephant poop when he goes potty. We were at church, and my sister took him to the potty. She was gone forever. I went looking for him, and she had pulled up a chair in the restroom while DS sat on the potty, obviously finished, but still saying, "and one time I made fish poop. It was the best. And one time I made cow poop. And one time.." |

| Re: Kids say the darndest things! What has your LO said lately that had you in stitches? My 22-month old dd has been talking up a storm the last couple weeks trying out all sorts of new words. Her favorites right now are "delicious" (said with a total lisp it comes out 'licious' and her other is 'reeka' for Eureka a song on the Backyardigans. Anytime she says either it totally cracks me up because she will repeat for at least 5 minutes over and over.
Anyway, today we're riding in the van and I gave the kids some Pirate Booty cheese puffs for a snack. Jaida is sitting behind me saying "mas, mas, mas" (Spanish for more, more, more). I asked what she wanted more of and she said:
"Mas booty please!!"

| Re: Kids say the darndest things! What has your LO said lately that had you in stitches? sbp's comment reminded me...
My 7 year old and I were at Walmart and she pointed to a huge electrical tower thingy, and said "Look, its the Eiffel Tower!"
