Default Think you might be pregnant? Trying to get pregnant?

The Dollar Tree has great pregnancy tests (and ovulation predictor tests)!

I did some online research and found out that the company that makes the New Choice test also supplies doctor's offices. So these are the same tests that the doctor uses to determine whether or not you are expecting. Much less expensive than any other store.

You can do a comparison of various tests at www.peeonastick.com!

The website in the post above confirms reports of false positives on the Confirm Clearly refillable pregnancy tests that were FAR at Rite Aid for the last 2 months. Some of the baby boards are even reporting positive tests when their HUSBANDS take the test.

When ttc I always bought my OPK and HCG tests online at saveontests. They were always accurate and supercheap.

The Dollar Tree store tests were giving false positives last month. The Lot # on the packages is O1206C5. I have used Dollar Store test in the past and have been happy, but check when you buy some so that you don't get ones with these lots numbers. I have two sitting on my desk with the bad lot numbers...just need to exchange them.

Default Confirm Clearly Pregnancy Test recall

I wasn't sure where to post this, and I hope it hasn't been posted before...I tried to search but didn't come up with anything.

Anyway, all of us that got those better than free Confirm Clearly pregnancy tests at Rite-Aid this summer, they have been recalled due to a high number of false positives.

http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/script...s.cfm?ID=49537

I still had mine unopened in the cabinet, and I called 1-800-851-0443 and the rep said to toss the tests and they would issue a full refund.

I don't want anyone getting their hopes up only to have them dashed by a false positive because the stupid test was defective. I would probably lose my mind if that happened to me.

I was seconds away from posting the same info. :-)

When you call, be prepared to answer:

When did you purchase
What store (just the name)
How much did you pay
Tax rate
The lot number on the bottom of the box

Thanks! I haven't been following any of the baby threads. What happens if I purchased multiple number of them? :( Darn - that's just too bad that these things don't work!

I had a starter kit and a refill. The CS rep said they would be sending me a refund for both. If you have more than a few, they might think you're scamming them and might want some proof that you bought multiples.

I have all the boxes still - I guess I could just ask them what they think. I bought 2 starter kills & 3 refills. They didn't expire until 2008 or 2009 so i thought I could hold on to them and I still have my receipts. Well, when I get a chance to give them a call and see what they say.

Personally I say if they were free don't be upset if you can't send them all back. This will hurt the company enough as it is kwim?
