have you tried the needle/thread? hold a needle on thread just above your belly area....you have to be at least 14 weeks or it definitely wont work. if it goes in circles...its a girl...if it goes side to side..its a boy. has NEVER failed for my family/friends.

Those things said my 1st a girl---not so much!!! My sickness, the heartbeat and everything pointed to a girl for my 2nd--not so much!!

the chinese calendars (both versions - based on conception age & delivery age) were wrong with both kids.

the string test was also wrong for me.

Going by the one on iVillage, it's correct for my DD. I only have the one LO, so it was 100% right for me.

This worked for me... except I used my wedding ring instead of a needle. My midwife used that method to tell her clients the sex of their baby... she said in her 7 years in practice she had never been wrong. I know, I know... it's still just a fun thing to do... but I believe in it 100%!

I bet your midwife is lying. Even ultrasounds are wrong a good percentage
of the time. I don't mean any disrespect to you or your midwife but I
have witnessed hundreds of births midwife attended and medical attended
EVERYONE is wrong sometimes. Amniocentisis with a chromosome study
is the only sure way to predict the gender.

It was right for me both times but I have to say, I think it was right because in my ex's family they all have boys so it was only natural to have boys.
