Do you need your husbands during your hospital stay?

at least during labor or who will you yell at this is the one time you can say what ever you want and he can't hold it against you LOL

Mine stayed it was a given...no asking no demanding....It was a precious time....He was so excited as was I....This shared experience is on the top of the list as 1 of the happiest moments in our life....Love and happiness was oozing....So much was felt and shared.....On our last night, a round table with a white table cloth decorated with a vase of red roses and lit candles was rolled in with two steak dinners and the works along with a bottle of sparkling grape juice in ice. The nurse offered to take our baby to the nursery but we opted to keep her with us. I imagine it would have been a totally different experience without him there and we would probably not have the relationship we have. That was over 23 years ago..........I have had a few hospital stays since (not births) and would have been fine alone (I'm independent) but there is noway DH would every consider not being there for me.
I am a spoiled woman and I like it.

I'm pregnant with my first and DH will be with me the whole time. I think once the baby is born, he just wants to be there as much as possible before he has to go back to work.

I am needy I guess. He stayed the whole time. I had a unplaned c-section after 18 hours of labor.

I'm a wimp, I'm glad DH stayed me from labor till I had an emergency C-section. He was there for me and DS during our hospital stay. DH is a keeper, I am blesssed
