Questions About Thrush

So my son has it on his belly and the doctor keeps giving us the costeriod cream and nystatin powder but we can 't get rid of it. Any one have suggestions of something topical, that purple stuff is only for in the mouth? I'm frustrated cause I feel like we don't change his diaper enough but I mean how many times can you change a diaper in a day. I'm not neglecting him by any means!

The GV can be used on the skin, but it stains big time.
