I haven't been couponing that long but my son is 5 and will ask for something/everything at the store and normally I tell him no unless its really really on sale or I have a coupon. Hes so funny now he asks if we have coupons for stuff he wants. And if I tell him no then he will ask well when will you get a coupon for this?

Its even worse when hes chattering in the store, do you have coupons for that? Can I see them? Is that free? What are we getting for free today? People tend to look at me funny I told him SHHHHH not everyone understands (people will think I'm crazy) :hectic1: Which I am but thats besides the point

He about died one week when we went and bought about 20 boxes of fruit snacks that were practically free after coupon and I let him pick them all out. He understands about the expired coupons now cause I told him to put a bunch in the recycling and he said you want me to throw away coupons?!?!? So I explained about the date and everything so he stopped freaking out.

My boyfriend and I just watched an old episode of Las Vegas and this coupole went to Vegas for free hotel food and everything on coupons he turns to me and says um.....can you figure out how to do that?!?!

When I go through my coupons my 3yr old son ask's for the expired ones...then he pretends to shop. I can only imagine how my daughter will be when she gets older.

my 7 year old calls me "the queen of all coupons" to which i respond "no honey, i just like coupons better then most people because coupons save us tons of money where as most people just want to take my money"

LMFAO....my DD8 generally goes through and collects blinkies for me, but I try to limit her so she doesn't get them all.. because if she seems I'm excited about 1, she'll grab 12 lol

DD age 3 is in love with Dunkin' Donuts, they recently put coupons out for $1 off any item. When DD saw the coupons she started to squeel with glee, she collected all of them and put them in her "purse". I swear every time she knows we're going to Dunkin Donuts she runs to get her purse and pulls out a q! I'm just so amazed at how fast she learned!

lol! these stories crack me up. too cute. my ds has yet to catch on to coupons, but i'm sure he's close. he totally gets recycling at 2.5yo and understands our produce comes from the farmer by our csa.

he's starting to get cvs. when i tell him we need to go to the store he asks if we're going there!

DS(4) frequently begs me to go to WAGs to get free stuff and then if I say ok we're done after one or two transactions he tries to get me to do one more time.

My DD is a little young yet (7 months) but my neice is hilarious. She's 6 and will ask her mom when they are going to go shopping at Auntie's house! Yeah... too much stockpile.. Then she'll tell my DD, Natty, don't touch the coupons! Your mom will get mad!! lol
