Re: His snoring is KILLING me!! Mine was like that.
I am going to give you a recommendation based on recent personal experience. I was in my DS bedroom trying to get him back to sleep, and I fell asleep in there. MH was in the bedroom with the baby in the pack n play.
He was sleeping so hard, and snoring so loudly that he didn't hear his 2.5 week old daughter screaming her lungs out at the foot of the bed... for more than 15 minutes. My mom finally intervened (we are temporarily living with her), and even her entering the room and rescuing the baby didn't wake him up.
DH made an appointment with an ENT the next day. He has had a nasal endoscopy, CAT scan and just had a sleep study. His follow up is on April 6th, so we find out then about any apnea. He has a large nasal polyp and issues from years of untreated allergies.
Severe snoring can signal greater sleep issues, and be flat out dangerous for your child. I was thinking about a girl's night away, but there's no way in hell I would do it now. I can't trust him to wake up.
