His snoring is KILLING me!!

I can totally relate to u. MY DH does the same thing. It's so bad when we go on a family vacation we get seperate rooms bc everyone else wont get a wink of sleep. I make him sleep on the couch or another room if we are ever home together. We both work night shifts. Anyhow I even went as far as video taping him one time to show him how bad it sounded and long it went on for. Of course he denied that the noise was him.

LOL....I tell him all the time that I'm going to record him. The response I get....."Why? I know I snore loudly....."

Decided not to even bother to fall back asleep this time. I'm just going to nap later!

He has softball on Sunday, and I think I'm going to see if he wants to go up the night before and stay up at the other house that he owns....I need a full night of sleep already.

You can take Benadryl while you are pregnant, you know. It will help you get some sleep. (It's the same thing as Tylenol PM and Simply Sleep)

MYy dh was a bad snoring found out he his sleep apnea now we have a machince that make more noise than when he was snoring.

OMG!!!! I CAN??? Holy S%^T!!! I had NO idea!!! I swear to you, just now, my eye lids were slowing closing as I sit here on the computer, but when I read that, I perked RIGHT ON UP!! Benadryl knocks me out cold!!! It's the only thing that does!!! Mrs. Pinecone.......I LOVE YOU!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!

This is my first pregnancy, so I have Zero idea as to what I can and can not take, and my next appt isn't until the 10th.

I am wide awake now!!! I can NOT thank you enough for that bit of info!!!

That's my OBs list of safe meds during pregnancy and nursing. They are pretty conservative, so I feel safe taking any of it.

I find that at least it's white noise from the CPAP machine. Like the fan we always have going in the room. I used to need complete silence in order to sleep, but now I'm okay as long as the noise is consistent. I wear ear plugs too-- they don't drown out any noises close by, but they do lessen the noise from the fan and the machine.

I already use ear plugs.....welders ear plugs which are awesome!! I bought the benadryl (found 1/1 peelies at my RA), and not only did it knock me out cold, I was able to breathe as it helped with my congestion!!! He still isn't off the hook though as I still want him to go and get all checked out...but OMG, was it nice to sleep!!!!

There is an OLD Bill Cosby album out with a skit about how he and his brother would lay in bed and listen to their dad snore at night. "the whole house would breathe with him as he sucked all of the air in around him, and one night......he stopped!!! My brother and I lay there, waiting for him to exhale..........finally we yelled: DAD, BREATHE, SO WE CAN BREATHE!!!! That is how I feel sometimes!! lol

My 6 year old son was a loud snorer. Not only did he snore, but he would have apnea episodes. I hated looking at him sleeping because he was gasping and his body was heaving so much he looked like a fish out of water.
I took him in for a sleep study and then to an ENT with the result. He had his tonsils and adnoids out last summer. No more snoring, apnea, or gasping and heaving.
What a big difference.

In the meantime for you, I agree with others. Sleep in another room and shut his door.
