Regbyandjulie, I've never had a dream like that, but I have had some steamie ones and it didnt involve DH. When I was pregnant with my other kids I had dreams about other men. It wasnt something that happend all the time, but i happened often. I don't know why it happens but it does. I don't have desires for them, I just dream (should I say....have nightmares) about them. Has anyone else been there done that before.

Hi all...my baby making days are long gone but I was lurking in this thread til I saw this comment and question. I have to put my experience in...
I had three, that I can remember, VERY vivid hot-n-steamy dreams while pregnant, all at the end of my second trimester. And let me just say that one involved then president, George Bush..ahem...the first one! I woke up in the morning thinking Holy Mother of Hannah! What was THAT all about?!?!
I asked my midwife and she explained that rated R or even XXX dreams can definitely occur in pregnancy. Our hormones are raging, including those that make us randy. AND generally after the first trimester, we are feeling better, over the nausea, etc and our bodies and minds are ready to get back to a little BEEZNESS!
I was SO glad she explained cause, after that third one, I was fearing for my sanity. :giggle7:

Well I'm 6 months pregnant with our first. My husband is currently deployed until June 11, and I'm due June 21, hopefully our little girl will wait for her daddy!

Aww, I hope she waits for her daddy too! That would be kinda sad if he missed her being born.

Kayla~~~ Is there ever a right time? lol....My pregnancy was a HUGE surprise, ok...at least to me. The timing was just completely off, as I still hadn't found a job (now, no one wants to hire a pregnant lady) so we had and have some pretty good obstacles to get around. But, it is what it is. I wish you the best of luck!!

I agree, Kayla. Ours was a surprise pregnancy, too. No one is ever really "ready" for a baby, especially us! We were floored! Luckily, we have a lot of people in our lives willing to help us out. I'm not saying go out and get pregnant, but if you keep waiting for the exact right time or when you feel ready enough, you'll never have a baby, and even though things are going to be harder now that we have this little person to take care of, I wouldn't trade her for anything, no matter how hard it's going to be.

Haha, ours was one heck of a surprise as well. We got married September 26, 2008, and found out October 15, that I was pregnant. We must have had a good first weekend. I don't think you're ever truly "ready" for a baby, but as long as you have an open heart, you always are :)

I agree. No one is ever truly ready for a baby. My DD was an oops! but she's the best thing that's ever happened to us. We were in the process of building a house and we only had one month of paying bills as homeowners before DD arrived so we were very stressed financially but somehow you make it happen. Congrats to all the soon-to-be mommies out there. We're not going to find out the sex of this baby and we didn't with DD. It drives our families nuts (which gives me great pleasure, hehe) but I like the surprise. It's one of the great surprises in life.

I love it! I think that is one of the reasons that we aren't going to find out either!!! My family is going crazy about it!!! Good to see that someone else has the same thinking that I do!!
