My daughter is three months right now, and she still loves to be swaddled. I look at her and think, "oh my, you are just delicious." What a blessing children are. Congratulations to you all!!

Holy cow.. the swaddle me blankets are a GOD SENT! Love the velcrow!! We swaddled our son for almost 7 months, he loved it!

My son still manages to get his hands up to his face when he is in those swaddle blankets!!! AND he is barely 2 weeks old! He is so determined to have at least his fingers near his cheeks.......

I had my 34 week appt today. I lost 1- 1 1/2 pounds again. So I'm down to 6 1/2-7 pounds gained. Hubby is NOT thrilled. He's wondering why they aren't having a fit about the little amount I gained. Last time I was pregnant, I gained 19 and at the end lost 1 pound and the dr started having a fit. She was concerned w/that one pound. I tease him now about it cause I know it bothers him. I keep telling him that if they were concerned they'd tell me.

My next appt is on the 23rd and we have our ultrasound to check the baby's size plus I'll get my first exam to see if I've started to dilate. I HOPE I'm at least 1 by then. I normally dilate up to 3 by week 37, so hopefully that happens this time, too. Maybe they'll be more quick to induce me, then. :shrug7:

I'm SO READY to have this baby, but am not SURE how I'll will handle all these kids....these girls are constantly yelling and screaming at each other. :hectic1:

Oh.. I am soo jealous!! I cant wait to have this baby in november and start nursing so I can lose some weight!! This is the most I have ever weighed in my LIFE!!

well went to check and battery is low in my mom's scale so it wont tell me what I weigh now LOL, I dont think I've lost much if any at all though. my size 14 jeans are fitting a bit snug.......

I'm almost back up to my highest weight
(well just before I had him anyways... 217,
my high was 228... I lost weight for a couple years and kept it off for a couple years, and I was 142 before I got pregnant with DD......
177 when I delivered her......
3 days after I had her, still 177 :shrug7:
and by the time I got PG with this one(she was 8 months), was up to 185

Hello my friends, just wanted to give you an update on my pregnancy. I went in today for my last ultrasound and my dr appt. Everything look good with the baby, his stomach is a normal size now and he weighs 5 lbs. I will be able to deliver with my dr instead of at the big hospital. They see no reason why he would have to have an type of surgery after he is born, just gotta do the follow-up visits with the special doctors. I am still scheduled to have a C-section on the 5th of October and all his measurements looked great. They are gonna run a test on his cord blood to confirm his Downs Syndrome once he is born. DH asked the ultrasound doctor if the amino test could be wrong since they are doing the test on his cord blood and she told him no. They just have to do the blood test anyway. And I've gained 4lbs since my last visit 2 weeks ago DH was so happy about that I am getting more and more excited about meeting this little guy that's been (like DH says) moving like a one man circus in there I also have started my weekly visits now, so we know its getting closer.

This is my 4th baby.. and up until now I have never gone to the hospital until I was in labor.. but then...

Yesterday my hubby asked to feel the baby kick, but she was kinda quite.. so we spent about 15 mins poking and shaking my tummy and nothing..

So I waited 2 hours.. still nothing!

Called my OB.. she had me drink a glass of OJ and lay down and do nothing...

Still nothing... by now I was almost in tears.. it had been like 5 hours since I noticed she had not moved.. and I honestly dont pay much attention to her movements.. so it could have been longer!

We went to the hospital.

She is fine! They hooked me up to a moniter.. and said her heartbeat was fine, but I was still kind of nervous.. so they did an ultrasound also.

They measured the fluid around her, its fine, her reflexes, all fine, her heart, fine.. everything checked out fine.

My OB stopped in and said she was just hiding in a ball towards my back, so I did not notice her movements as much.

I am 30 weeks today and see my OB again friday for my reg 2 week visit.

I was the same way around about the same time 30wks with this preggo when I noticed that my baby hadn't moved all day long. He is usually a mover and a shaker, but nothing that day until we were heading to the hospital. Then he was moving during the drive there, all during the monitoring and most of that night. So i guess he was making up for that whole day of sleep that he got Oh and this it my 4th as well, so i guess those 4th babies just want to scare us a little. Best of luck with you pregnancy.
