I didnt want him to have it because then the next dose is supposed to come at 1 month ... my daughter got all her shots at once at 2 months, he had enough sticking with the newborn screening and bilirubin tests etc - I dont feel like newborns need a vacc against hep b right away.......... agh I'm just so mad!!!! now he has to give more blood for the newborn screening since apparently they screwed that up too. poor little guy. :( I was hoping no bandaid would mean he didnt get it since the ped always put bandaids over all my DD shot sites and they had bandaids on his heels where they stuck him. I think I'm going to ask for a copy of mine and his medical records and look them over and then see what they have to say....
Courtney congrads on that beautiful baby. I just have one questions was he fighting when he was exercising his right to his first cry I see he has a little scratch on that face. Clip those nails cuz sometime they come out the womb needing a manicure.
Tomorrow I will be 33 weeks and counting down to my son's delivery. I went to the dr on Friday and we've locked in a date for my scheduled c-section of October 5th, so we will see how that goes. Also I posted a while back that I've gained about 8 or 10 pounds so far, well I was totally wrong. I've gained a whopping 3lbs since I my first prenatal visit. My dr doesn't seem to be too concerned about that as she said that my stomach as been measuring big every time. I know I don't gain much during my pregnancies (except my first 50lbs), but only 3lbs and to be 33 weeks is amazing. I think my major problem is that fact that I hardly every finish my meals and I don't snack a lot. But my baby seems to be doing fine, he's kicking a lot and making tidal waves out of my belly Other then the fact that its getting harder and harder to get comfortable and having lots of Braxton Hicks contractions everything is going well. Hope all you preggo ladies and new moms are doing well today. Take care and I look forward to reading more post.

Dee- I lost weight with my pregnancy and didn't eat a lot and Caroline grew just fine, so I'm sure if your doctor isn't worried that you're doing okay.

Good eye there!! YES, that scratch is literally from his first seconds out in the world!! He moved faster than they anticipated and got himself before they could stop him!! LOL.....it's pretty much all healed up now. And trust me, when he let his first set of cries out....OMG....my dr and the peds dr both said that they had never heard a set of lungs like that on a newborn before.....ever!! My weight pretty much stayed the same throughout the entire pregnancy. If I gained anything, then by the next appt, it was gone and I would be down a bit. No one had any problems with it and they also told me that I was measuring big! Baby was ok, so they were ok w/ it all! I didn't snack a lot either, and my meals got smaller and smaller the farther along I got since he was taking up so much room!.

Hello all,I just have a question. I have a four-month old, and currently she is on Similac Isomil Advance. This formula is expensive. A few months ago, Similac put out coupons for $2.00, so I stocked up on the coupons. These coupons expire tonight, and I'm just heartsick. Does anyone know how often Similac puts out coupons for their formula? I was using these coupons on the cans. So instead of paying $4.68, I was paying $2.68 a can. What a savings!! I wish I could afford to stock up on these tonight, but I can't. Just hoping and wishing that someone knows if they put these out more than once to ease my mind. I can't even sleep thinking about it. :)

Hello Ladies!!! It's been a week since my c-section and everything went smoothly. I now have a son! Cordell Benjamin was born at 8:17am weighing 7lbs 5ozs and 18 1/2 inches long. He is beautiful, healthy and such a good baby. Only been peed on twice now :) Evelyn has adjusted well to being a big sister and is always giving Cord kisses and wants to hold him. God has blessed us again. Thank you for all of your prayers and good wishes. Here's a pic of our family.
