Awwww, Congratulations! I'm so glad to hear she's doing well. My boys were 35 & 32 weeks. I'm now 26 weeks and I'm just so nervous. I do NOT want to have to ride the NICU rollercoaster ever again, lol. Best of luck & lots of prayers to you, your LO & your family!!

This is baby #3 for us. I am 35 weeks and I absolutely can't wait to have this baby. We are seeing a midwife one hour away from us and she will come to our home to deliver! I have a 6 yr old, a 3 yr old and then we have 2 teens in another state. I homeschool and work from home ( most of the time). I can't roll over without waking up. When I go to bed I have to get up and pee about every 5-10 minutes for usually 3 rounds then I can sleep pretty well for a couple of hours. My uterus tights when I get up, lift anything, or walk. One of the great things about this pregnancy is that I haven't gained but a couple of pounds compared to 60 pounds with the 6 y/o and 40 with the 3 y/o. I love being pregnant but I am ready to hold this one in my arms.

The Dr. told me not to worry until the results come back, but I mean, if you tell me that something is potentially seriously wrong with my child, and if I don't feed my child every 4 hours, and if I notice ANY change in her behavior that I need to rush her to the ER immediately, how am I NOT going to worry? Especially when the result won't come back for at least a week.

After a long week of worrying and praying and diligently being anal about waking Cara up every 4 hours to eat...

SHE IS NORMAL! NO DISEASE!!

The tests results came back and she's prefectly healthy. I am so thankful.

I am so glad to hear that. Good to know that you baby is doing fine. Please keep us posted on and changes and you are definitely in my prayers and so is everyone else that post in this thread

Just got back from the DR. No dilation, and baby is down even lower. Next appt is next week, and my due date is also next week (Thursday the 20th). Not seeing my dr next week (vacation....how dare she!! LOL), so will see another one, and if I haven't gone into labor by the following week when I see her, she will schedule me for an induction. Her words to me were: "Nope, no dilation, nothing. So....keep on painting!!"

So....off to prime yet another wall, and hopefully will have enough energy to start painting that one today!

I'm down to 5 days to due date and this little guy is still hanging in there, LOL....

sooooooooo ready to be done. I refused the cervical check on the 5th, but I'm guessing they'll push me more to be checked on Friday (if I make it, LOL) ... the dr said they will "try to start my labor" then (but won't induce until 1 week past due date) so, I'm guessing that means a sweep of the membranes? is there something else they might do short of inducing??

with DD I had the dilation/effacement check 2 days before I had her and there was nothing going on.... and I know you can go totally the other way and be pretty well dilated, etc for weeks.... so all that really doesnt mean anything to me.

I dont think I updated on this thread that my appt at the med u showed that my little guy's kidneys are perfectly normal(no cysts).... that was THE longest month ever, waiting for that appointment.

CARISAL ~ so happy to hear that!! Must be a huge load off of your mind!! The last few days are torture, aren't they? This is my first, so I"m thinking baby M will choose to wait until past the due date......late just like momma always is!! LOL

I don't mind the possibility of going a little over my due date as we are so busy here w/ painting and every thing, that we NEED those few extra days!! Plus it keeps me from losing my sanity wondering .....LOL....

So I guess I can join you all in here now. I went to the doctor today because I have a staph infection on my arm. Well I wasn't sure if I was pregnant because I am 2 days late, but was thinking its just stress. Needless to say the did a pregnancy test before giving me the prescription for antibiotics(needed ones that would be ok during pregnancy if positive). The test came back. My DH and I are so excited, we weren't trying but we weren't preventing either. Our DS is almost 2 so we were ready.

Now I'm just freaking. I have to find an OB out here because we just moved here. We have no family close by again with this one and that was so difficult with DS. I had complications with DS so I am also worried about that. Worrying isn't going to help any, but I just can't help but think about it.

Ok time to relax and find an OB so I can find out when my EDD is for the new bundle of joy.

Congrats foggierbard9!! Where do you live? Maybe one of us lives close to you & can recommend an OB :)
