I'm sorry to inform you that YES its normal, but the way i see it is its only gonna get worse as the baby continues to grow. But it will be all worth it in the end. Hang in there, you're almost to done

Jeez.....seriously? I am just miserable with all of these pains anymore. Can ya guess it's my first?? LOL

At my last sonogram, (last Tuesday), they estimated the baby to be at about 6lb 13oz, and I still have a due date of August 20 (even though they bumped me up 2 weeks to the 5th....my Dr is sticking w/ the 20th). I was told that the baby's legs are nice and long.....and I have to believe her, b/c when I am laying down it feels like the legs are going to come out of my nose!!

I am not used to not being able to do things, and I am slowly starting to get very cranky about it all......

I haven't posted for awhile... I had my 29 week check up last week. All is well. All through my pregnancy my doctor has not treated me as high risk (I just turned 35) because I'm healthy & have had no problems. But then this past visit she says "I may have told you this before but because of your advance maternal age (this makes me laugh! I am not 'old') we will start doing ultrasounds at every visit (I think weekly) starting at my next appointment August 6th. I was a little annoyed because I didn't see the necessity of it. I did find out that THANKFULLY it will be covered by my insurance since the doctor sees it as medically necessary. Of course we still have to pay a portion of it. I've gained 21 pounds so far. I'm starting to have more trouble doing somethings easily. This past weekend I was sitting in the car & needed to pick something off the floor. Hhahhaaha- I got it but it was very hard to reach it!!! Hope you are all well!!!

"Advanced maternal age"? Is that based on maybe your Level 2 test? How odd for her to say that to you!

Trust me......as time goes on and you drop something...you're just going to really want to leave it on the floor! LOL.....Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks :) Apparently the term "advanced maternal age" is used for who are 35+. For whatever reason they now consider all women 35+ as high risk.... Ok, whatever LOL. It just sounds funny as if I should now go collect Social Security or something :) :) :)

August is just around the corner!! Woo hooo! Do you know if you are having a girl or boy? We are having a girl!
