I am 14 1/2 weeks today. I am due August 22. This is our #3. I havn't really had any cravings but in early december, before we knew we were expecting, I was hungry. I mean really hungry. All I wanted to do was eat. That was the first hint that I might be expecting. I waited until after Christmas to take a test cause I didn't want a big ordeal at my gmas. I wanted to be able to tell our parents first and let it sink in a bit first.
I had a little morning sickness but I think it has passed. I was really sick with dd#1.
Dh is hoping for a little boy this time, but we will feel blessed with either. If it is a boy, this will be our last. If it's another girl, he says we might have to have another :)

dwshrty77roc- April 30th is optimistic for me, my first sons bday is April 7th, and 2nd is May 6, but I was 10 days overdue with my first son, I am thinking as long as I don't have him on May 6th, I will be doing okay! I really don't want to bdays on the same day! I have a twin sister, and it was horrible growing up having to share a birthday party! I am having a shower for my 3rd, wasn't planning on it, but the ladies at my new church want to do it, and I am all for it! And we gave away most of the big items, like crib and bouncer, so I have been collecting since I found out I was pregnant, I love craigslist! About the only thing we are buying new is the car seat, I completely agree, that is one item that is just too important to take someones word on!

Hi! I'm new to the site and 25 wks pregnant with 3rd child (It's a girl!)! I lost about 25 lbs before pregnancy and have gained that back and then some. Hopefully since I've gone from craving doughnuts and icecream to roast beef, I will slow it down.

I totally agree. It's nice to have friends to talk about preggo issues with. My sister is okay, but she's bossy and she worries all the time. And my MIL is completely insane, so all I tell her is that everything is fine and we'll let her know next week when we find out what we're having.

I'll tell you, though, I got SO mad a few weeks ago when I was visiting my in-laws. I'm not really showing yet, but I did have some extra belly fat before I got pregnant (which I'm self-conscious about and was trying to get rid of, but then I got pregnant, lol), and when I visited her, she said "Oh, I can see you're showing already, look at that belly!" And my DH looked at me and tried so hard to keep from laughing. I was sooo mad, but all I said "yes, he's probably going to be a big baby like his dad." And then we quickly said goodbye and left. My DH laughed the whole way home.

LOL, I had the opposite problem with my first pregnancy - I didnt show until 7 months.... and by show I mean get a round belly at all.

When I had 6 weeks to go, I about lost it. (all at work)within a few days, I had a girl come in and offer me the preemie clothes she had bought and never used on her daughter. well, she didnt ask if I wanted them, more said she was going to bring them (she didnt.) and another lady came in and saw my belly was getting round. ..... "oh, are you pregnant?" yes maam. "oh well you are not very big at all, maybe you will get bigger in the last few months! when are you due? " ... april 4th .... and I could see her pulling out her mental calendar. "oh! good luck!"

.... my daughter was born 10 days early and a perfect 6 lb 12 oz!

I'm NOT....thankfully...I would LOVE to have another baby..but we are out of space and money LOL
