Question re: Gerber $3 coupons

I e-mailed Gerber and they sent me a couple of coupons that say "save up to $3 - This coupon is good for up to $3 off Gerber Baby Foods, Graduates Foods or Graduates for Preschoolers Foods".

I need to get meat which comes in stage 2 jars for an elderly cat. My question is can I get more than one jar and get the $3 off that or can I only get one jar on this coupon?

If you can only use this coupon on one item - has anybody seen multipacks of stage 2 meats?

I had one of the up to $3.00 off q, and when I was going to use it the cashier said it could only be used for one item, and I was buying baby food stage 1, they were a dollar, so I took the q back and used next time on the apple juice which was $ 2.99.

I just buy alot of baby food so they dont even question it and take the full $3 off my total order at the end (of coarse our total is usually $150+ with all of our groceries) so by the time they are done with us they just wants us to go!

I guess it depends on the cashier because I did have alot of baby food and a bunch of other things and a ton of coupons and she still wouldn't take it for more than the highest amount gerber product which was $1.00.

I used mine on 3 of the gerber graduate meals that were $1.08 each and the full $3 came off...

I used them the other day at Ultra Foods. I bought 12 jars of stage 2 meats and the coupons scanned for taking off only a single item. The cashier was really nice and adjusted them to $3 with no hassle. Thanks everyone for your help.
