How do you get your toddler to take medicine?

When DS had a fever recently, I ended up having to use Feverall (Tylenol) suppositories! Yes, it seems weird and gross, but it was literally the only way to get anything in him. He doesn't eat when he's sick, and barely drinks anything, so there was no hiding medicine in food. It doesn't hurt them, and in the long run I think it is less traumatizing than holding them down and trying to force medicine down their throats. Good luck!

We have 5 yr old twins. Our DD will take anything if you tell her it will make her a magical fairy princess lol Our DS is a different story when he is sick everything gags him. The only thing that works for him is to add it to a small amount of juice like one drink for him and Tell him he cant have any because its so good and only mommy or daddy can drink it. lol
Sometimes we will sit the drink down and tell him to watch the cup and not to drink it and he will usually drink it to be funny lol
It works for us! lol
