Right now we are using Luv's with DD because they are the only thing that fits her right... Everything else is too big in the leg area and they would droop. We started using them a couple months ago... When she was a newborn we liked the huggies or target brand. Pampers baby dri stink horribly! The luvs that I have gotten lately don't have a scent....Some packages have had a scent and then others don't.... its weird. We also liked the pampers cruisers, mostly for the stretchy sides. But we have only gotten those if there is a good deal.

Last week, CVS had a kimberly clark extra care buck promo when you spent $40, you got $20 in ecb.
This included the huggies wipe tubs (72-80 ct) and jumbo packs of diapers (reg. or supreme)
This was a great scenerio for getting really cheap diapers!!

five packs huggies jumbo $45
two tubs wipes $5
minus $10 with email coupon
minus $9.50 in mfg coupons
minus $3 in cvs mailer coupons
minus $5 for $5 off $30
$22.50 oop
earn $20 ecb
go back...
get five more packs $45
two tubs of wipes $5
minus $10 with email coupon
minus $9.50 in mfg coupons
minus $5 for $5 off $30
minus $20 extra care bucks

total spent oop for 10 jumbo packs of diapers and 4 tubs of wipes:

And that, my dear, is how you get diapers for $3 a pack!!

My tip for you would be to REALLY watch the cvs and walgreens boards because right now is the best time for those promotions...last month walgreens ran a buy $20 in kimberly clark products get a $10 gift card and this month, they have the same promotion...this promo is being run this month as well...so this in and of itself is free diapers!! All these kc promos are PRE COUPON PRICE!! Now, if you don't like huggies, all I can say is amazon.com is running their pampers promo when you buy $99 worth of diapers, you get $25 off instantly! The only problem is pampers are REALLY expensive on amazon.com...

I did do the CVS deal (my first DVS deal). I also just applied for a card in DH's name. I am going to try and do the Walgreens one this month, my only problem I don't have but TWO huggies coupons. I was going to do the spend $20 get $5 from CVS next week also.

I was wondering how they were coming up with $3 a pack and I guess that would explain it. I thought there were some HOT coupons out there. Thanks for the explination! :)

Also, ask everyone you know to save diaper coupons for you...mom, friends, mil, grandma...and sign everyone you know up for the mailing lists (with their permission, of course) and start getting mailer coupons. They won't come right away but when they do come, start putting your deals together!! I have tons of diaper coupons but I wouldn't have them without the help of friends and family!!
Don't be afraid to get coupons online either. Look in the trading boards and someone is bound to want something you have for something they want!

We prefer Huggies but will use anything we get a good deal on. We are currently using Pamper since I got a 8 off coupon from them because I hated the swaddlers then they had a sale and a 5 dollar off coupon @ babiesRus and I couldn't pass that up!

I have to say that I am very much impressed with the Rite Aid diapers. They are nice and soft and hold a TON without leaking. Since he's sleeping for much longer stretches, the changes are not as frequent, and no issues so far.

They are especially nice since I got the for $4 per mega pack!
