Which diapers are your favorites? - Page 14

I am usually a Pampers Cruisers fan. However, I got a good deal on Huggies Snug and Dry. Do these work well? I'm just wondering if I made a mistake getting 252 of them when I don't know how well they work. And I'm trying to decide if I should just return them.

Diapers are diapers. Most of them "work", particularly the big names. There is more variation in the store brands.

I have diapers that I PREFER, but nearly all of them get the job done.

Okay good, this post makes me feel better. I'm trying to start a (small) stockpile, and I was telling my DH about what everyone was thinking about the different plans and he said from the way it sounded we might as well be better off using newspaper and duct tape! (I think he was kidding).

It sounds like the only thing I have to worry about is sizing, and of course not buying too many in case she is allergic to them, but maybe I can circumvent that if I don't buy scented diapers (keeping the receipts of course). My sister always swore by Huggies and keeps telling me they are the best, which works for me especially with the IPs out right now and the caregivers rebate, LOL.

I'm wondering the same thing, but I'm just going to assume that these are going to work. To me, 252 is nothing to worry about. I bought 33 packs of Huggies yesterday--that's 1140 diapers!!! Yes, I might have gone a bit overboard, but at $2.30 a pack for name brand (price per diaper varies, b/c I got diff sizes) I couldn't let my q's go to waste! I guess if she doesn't like them, I'll deal with it then. And our dd isn't even due for 4 months! Did I mention this is our first? I guess I'm assuming if they don't work well with her, we can always save them for #2...or #3....or....#4...or, you get my point.

I have tried every diaper under the sun. Huggies supreme/huggies snug and dry, pampers,luvs,parent's choice,target brand. I perfer the name brand. with the parents choice and target brand my son was always leaking and they diapers got soggy in the front with the target diapers. Between pampers/huggies/luvs they are all the same really. My son doesn't perfer a diaper and they all are great on leaks. I do have to put a size up on my son at night though to keep him from peeing all over his sheets. He is only 21 lbs but he wears a size 4 and needs a 5 at night to hold all that pee haha.
