I love the Walgreen's diapers, especially the supremes. They do run small, so keep that in mind.

I also really like the Food Lion store brand (DMZ Brands). Very absorbent and soft. It's the house brand for all of their chains, and they have Clifford the Big Red Dog on them.

We only use Pampers Swaddlers. Tried Huggies and Luvs, didn't care for them.

I really loved Pampers Swaddlers (at least for the 2 months my chunky monkey actually fit in them lol) but I'll only buy them for this baby if they're on super sale. The Cruisers are okay, but sometimes his skin is wet when I change him. Pampers Baby Dry work great but they smelled awful when he peed in them. He wasn't sleeping through the night when he was in Swaddlers but the Cruisers and Baby Dry were AWFUL at night! He woke up drenched in pee, stinking to high heavens, and rashy. And that was in a 6 hour 'night'

Huggies Supremes are great! He always feels dry when I change him and they hold up overnight.

Huggies Overnights were great, too, but too expensive. I love the maxi pad idea!

Luvs I don't really like, but will use if I can get them for under $2/pack.

I just opened our first bag of Walgreens Supremes and so far I LOVE them - by far the best of the store brands we've tried.

CVS Supremes were awesome when they were the Snoopy ones, and now the Caillou ones are pretty good.

Parent's Choice was great for the money, but not for overnight.

I'm really liking these Wags diapers...I hope there's a stock up worthy sale soon!

I prefer my cloth because in a prefold and cover she has no leaks at all overnight. If I get stuck using a sposie, I have to avoid Pampers/Luvs because of all of the chemicals (and it may just be the gluten) in them she gets a horrid rash. I liked the BJs brand other than her getting a rash (since it's all sposies it must be the nikel or dioxin in them that bother her), the fit was pretty good and the smell wasn't too awful. Huggies give her less of a rash but they leak horribly, the perfumey make you pukey factor was way lower with these than stinky Pampers/Luvs though.
I used almost every brand and off brand of sposies with my eldest and every one leaked at night when she was an older toddler! I do not miss the sheet cleaning and extra laundry. With my prefolds I can toss a flat in for a doubler if I feel I need to and with the cover I get no leals at all.
In fact, for those of you who get leaks from the diapers every night, you may want to look into cloth diaper covers. They can help contain the pee, and poop (no blowouts since I switched to cloth!), and that can save you laundry. Since you'd just be using the cover, the washing is simple and could just go in with some of your normal laundry to wash and hang to dry most of the time. If I had known about the diaper covers with my eldest, I could have saved a lot of time and detergent!

We just tried the Especially for Baby (Toys R Us brand) from the TRU/BRU Black Friday sale and they're GREAT! The tabs are really soft and stretchy (they're just like pampers, but softer) and the diaper did really well overnight. Can't wait for these to go on sale again!

huggies are my favorite, pampers baby dry leak and smell over night, pampers swaddlers sometime leak, wallgreens brand gave her a rash, walmart brand was great, a little rough on the outside but she didn't seem to care.

I try to stick with huggies unless pampers are cheaper.

Have not tried CVS brand yet either though

Default Re: Which diapers are your favorites?

Well - now we have officially tried these 4 brands: Huggies, Pampers, Walgreens & CVS.

Pampers Swaddlers are my favorites for DD. They are soo incredibly soft. But I do agree with one of the pp's that if she really wets them, it kinda feels like its damp on the outside since they are really soft. Stupid as it sounds, I kinda like the "strip" that they have that turns yellow to green. But they are expensive. Less deals sp I've used all the Pampers we had already in N and Size 1.

Huggies Supreme - Size 1... I use these on DD during the night hours, just in case she might actually sleep more than 3 hrs in a row. I haven't had a problem with them. I still have many packages of Huggies left as I have only use a few of the supremes & 1 package of the newborn gentle care package.

Walgreens - no problems here either. but i only had a few packages and without a great deal, i'm sticking to pampers and huggies.

CVS ultrathin size 1: least favorite. I bought them when our store was phasing them out (purple kind) and it was 75% off the regular price. So it came to about $1.97 a package which I bought 4 packages to try. We are only about 1/2 way thru the 1st package and DD has leaked already and also leaked poop. :( Not so happy about that. I was kinda surprised since CVS diapers had really good reviews. I also bought 3 packages of the Supreme version, but I didn't get size 1 so I'll have to wait to use that. DH said the regulars felt cheap. I won't be buying the regulars again unless it's such a great deal, I can't pass it up.

I actually like pampers much more that I passed up the Huggies CVS ecb deal last week, and will just use my ECBs on Pampers sale which isn't even a great sale.

Huggies because they have no scent and Seventh Generation. I alternate between the 2.

Default Need help with experience with CVS and Walmart brand diapers and/or other store brands--thanks!!!

My daughter is now one year old, and I am finding it more and more difficult to afford diapers and groceries and everything else as I am sure you all are as well. I was doing well when I first found this site. I was hunting down all the sales and coupons and I had a pretty decent stockpile built up. However, now (I am a full-time college student) It is simply impossible for me to spend the amount of time that I was couponing. I am having to spend more time studying and working less hours, and her father and I have split up so I am minus that income and minus any help with her around the house. I never really minded generics except for some things I never wanted to buy generic --that I am having to now. One of those is diapers.

I have tried walmart's white cloud diapers and they are okay, it is just difficult to get all the way out to walmart from my house. I have heard of white cloud wipes but I haven't seen them--has anyone else?? Also, what about Parent's choice diapers, how do they compare to white cloud and/or name brand diapers?? I have heard good things about CVS diapers--but what is the difference between CVS Supreme, CVS Explorers, CVS Ultra Thin, and Playskool diapers (which are CVS's brand, right??) I'd just like to hear of some others' experiences, because I'd like to be able to still use decent diapers, but also save some money if I can.
