FYI, you can return without a receipt for a gift card, I wouldn't recommend doing it for a quantity like this, but I don't see why they wouldn't do a straight exchange if "down the road" you had too many of one size. (As long as the item is still on their shelves, same UPC and all.)
Other really good diaper deals will come along down the road too. And your child may not even be able to wear this particular store brand. You just don't know until you try.
But buying pullups that you aren't even going to use for almost 3 years seems like overkill to me.
I re-read the original post, if you are planning on exchanging the pull ups for smaller sizes that you are going to need sooner, that makes more sense, but I still think you have enough. This is way more than a start.
I counted 60 packages of diapers, that's got to be at least a year's worth of diapers.
