I've never tried the Target brand as we live hours away from the nearest one but the girls on the nest just LURVE them![]()
I had a diaper shortage (not much of a size 5 stockpile, and the ones I have are Luvs, which DS turned out to be allergic to) so I bought a pack of the Target store brand.
Everyone I've seen post about them says they are great, but apparently they weren't talking overnight. I woke up to a son swimming in a sea of pee. Soaked pants, jammies, blanket, sheet and stuffed bear. Blech.
I am a huge fan of store brand diapers, but won't be using these again without a doubler or using some other brand overnight.

I have had the same experience with Target diapers. They are NOT for overnight use! Since my son started sleeping through the night, he doesn't pee that much during the night time, and target diapers still don't hold up.
I've noticed that Walmart diapers are even worse, at least for us.
I'm really glad that Asher is not allergic to Luvs diapers. They work great, and are a lot cheaper than Huggies or Pampers. I like that they are stretchy, unlike the store brands. I wish I could find a good store brand that have the "features" I like in Luvs, but cheaper.
I honestly can't believe that he slept until 6:45, as wet as he was. It must have been cold as heck to be that soggy.

We can't stand target diapers either, I have a friend who swore by them but leak city at our house!! I haven't ever tried walmart brand, but Target and Luvs both are blechhh for me.
I prefer pampers, but use huggies, walgreens and cvs brand. The wags diapies actually do a great job of holding in all the overnight pee!!

I am also not a fan of the Target brand - they just seem thin to me. I am very impressed with the Mom to Mom brand that is new(er) at Safeway/Vons. My daughter had diarrhea (TMI) and they did not leak - wow!
My yougnest DD is allergic to them. We have only found 2 brands of diapers she can wear with no problems at all Luvs and Walgreens premium comfort stretch.
I prefer the Walgreens brand to the Target brand, I tried a couple of packages, as they were on clearance, and they just did not absorb nearly as well as some of the other store brands I've tried.
I'm not really liking these much for daytime, either.
Lesson learned, and off to change the review in the Diapers & Wipes 101 thread. Blech.
