need help with up-coming babyshower!

hey everybody!
i need your help!! i am going to a babyshower on saturday and i really dont have much money to spend, i was hoping on using my coupons to buy the gift. I was thinking some very cheap baby wipes and diapers, they are not particular on what diapers they want to use right now so any would be good. Any ideas on whats the cheapest i can buy and with what coupons?

Make a diaper wreath - use a foam core wreath, open each diaper "around" it - tie with curling ribbon. When done - tie on things like pacifiers, little teething toys, etc.

that would be a good idea!! i just have to find the diapers for cheap, dont know because i dont have kids lol whats the regular price for a pack of huggies pampers now?

I buy some private label diapers to make the wreath out of - you can get them for about 5-7 a pack at dollar type stores or even walmart. I avoid using size NB or 1, I usually buy size 2...because by the time they are ready to take the wreath apart the baby might have outgrown the smaller ones. Depending on how big a foam core wreath you get (I use the small ones that the Dollar Tree Stores sell), you should only need about 12-15 diapers, so you can get 2 or 3 wreaths out of a pack. This is my standard baby shower gift. Many people have hung it on the door to the babies room, the hospital room, or even their house. Everyone seems to love them. If you have a Food Lion close, use their IP coupons for $2 off Gerber accessory to get free baby nail clippers and teething rings for on it.

Dollar General has their brand of diapers for 6.50 and their 80 count wipes for 1.75, last time I looked.

I think that using what you have like the wipes and bottles would be a great gift. To beef it up maybe get a little package of onsies or just diaper cream..... Target is having a great clearance and I've alway had luck to find little baby gifts.

When I was buying diapers a few years ago, Walmart's "white cloud" brand worked really well and was about $5 or $6 a pack. Luvs are a good, economical brand to go with as well. Huggies are going to run about $10 and pampers can usually be had for $8 or $9 (PREcoupons!).

i recieved 2 johnson & johnson coupons today in the mail for $1.00 of any product so i went to the travel section at wm and got 2 diaper bag sized baby powder... free and 12c each overage....i also found a great white basket in my storage, to make a basket.... maybe i can get to walmart or dg and get some of the diapers and maybe some little onsies... thx for the ideas!! it helped lots..

Do you have a Walgreen's? Their diapers are 2/$11.98 this week and there is a $5/2 Q in the monthly easy saver book, making it two packs for $5.98. I even actually like these okay!

im hoping to go to walgreens saturday, as its about 25-30 min drive from me and i don t have a car so we have to depend on friends and family! thats a good deal! were do i get the easy saver book from?
