Default kids glasses...

Not sure how many of you all have kiddos in glasses but....walmart has a back to school special where you can get a complete pair for $40! That is a great deal for Rx. There are a few styles that are actually cute.

Thanks for the tip. It will be over by the time I actually get in to the always booked opthamologist, but it's nice to know there are deals sometimes. Got the last two pair at Costco, which wasn't too bad.

You shouldn't need a new prescription as long as the old one is valid--which I believe is usually for a year. If you don't have a copy your doctors office should be able to get one for you without a new exam.

My kids and I, my aunt and my father order all of our glasses from Zenni Optical. They are fabulous! My daughter and I have about 10 pairs each and love to wear different color/style frames with different outfits.

It's $5 flat rate shipping, no matter how many pairs you get... so stock up!

seo is on a distinguished road
Default Re: kids glasses...

I can second zennioptical.com, they are wonderful! I've purchased several times with them and the quality is great- some of the best glasses I've worn. Plus, they're cheap as can be, starting at $8! I actually ordered the first time around because I knew they would be cheap and worthless- I was very wrong. I've since recommended them to many friends and family and everyone is completely thrilled with them. Seriously, they rock!

I was totally going to mention Zenni and others beat me too it!! They have complete glasses (adults and childrens) starting at $8.

I recently purchased 3 complete pair of glasses, each with its own case and cleaning cloth for under $30. I'm very pleased with the quality. Similar frames at Walmart were $40 and up before lenses! I'm considering ditching contacts for awhile due to cost, so may go back and get some more frames just for fun. They also do prescription sunglasses for an extra $5 fee on top of whatever your glasses cost.

Can't beat it!!
