What is your favorite brand of clothing for your DD or DS?

Yup, you have to pick one. I was going to make it multiple-choice, but I knew I'd be tempted to mark them all. ;)

I'd love to know what everyone's favorite clothing brand is, and why!
I tried to list as many brands as I could think of, but if I forgot one, please pick other and tell us what brand. :)

Feel free to discuss how you feel about other brands, too!

This was so hard for me to pick. I am actually, despite having a fondness for certain brands, not all that picky. I will buy from Circo just as much as Gymboree. There are plusses and drawbacks to most brands.

I ended up going with Gymboree. I have no sense of "style" so to speak, so having the matching lines is great for me. Plus, 80% of the time there's at least 1 line that I like. I find the sizes usually run a bit big, which I prefer.

I also love Koala Kids, I think they would do better if they offered it online. It's frustrating to go to Babies-R-Us and find a cute set, but be missing a pair of pants or a top or accessories in a certain size.

Actually, before I start gushing over all the brands, I'll just stop here. ;)

We love TCP. I think the clothing fits better on DS, who has a long torso and short legs.

Another vote for Gymboree. The only drawback is the price. By the time the prices get low enough for me to buy it is hard to find the pieces that I want. They also haven't had a line I absolutely loved since Girl Detective although the Beach Shack stuff is really calling my name right now.


Ok, so why is this poll on the Carter's board?

Oh, and what about Oshkosh as a choice, Tommy, Ralph Lauren, Strasburg Children's?

I voted "other," because my favorite is whatever her grandma buys since I don't have to pay for it!

Otherwise, for her first year, I would have chosen Carters, because they have some of the sweetest, softest things.

For her second year, I would have picked Gymboree. I don't buy it much unless I find a great clearance, but they have fantastic clothes.

I was hoping to pull a few people into Carter's. :D I haven't been in an outlet recently, and was hoping someone might amble in and post about what's there. ;)

I meant to put Osh Kosh, and totally forgot. Even though they're owned by the same company, I like Carter's better than Osh Kosh B'Gosh, so I guess it gets overlooked by me.

I LOVE Strasburg Children! Not sure how I missed that one. I wouldn't buy 90% of their stuff ;) but some of it is precious.

I would have to say a tie between TCP, Old Navy & the Gap. I chose TCP on the poll because I have bought more things their. I think all of these stores carry the trendiest clothing for kids and its made with good quality. I tried shopping at gymboree a few times and I think their boy clothes look babyish. I like my son looking like a little man so I am glad that I find places that carry the lil man clothes (lol).

Carters has way cute stuff for little girls... but I completely understand that some thing the stuff for little boys is a bit too cutsie...

I chose Gap because they seem to hold up extremely well. I NEVER pay full price. We have children's consignment shop and I find lots of GAP and Old Navy for 1.50-3.00. The GAP just seems to keep it's shape and color better.

I like ON prices but they don't seem to wear well at all.

I picked the Carters's Store Brand because for my son the sizes fit him the best. I haven't bought anything from Gymboree, so I can't compare. I really love the clothes that his grandparents buy him too.
